JN News Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 Has anyone ever heard Bruce Hornsby's music? I have the Music Choice channel on COX Cable, and they play a few of his songs, and I think the man doesn't get enough credit for his work, because I think he's produced some great songs, back in the 80's. What do you think?
Nighthawk Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 The old guy that ripped off 2Pac? Fuck him.
AboveAverage484 Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 Bruce Hornsby kicks ass, he also did the piano for Don Henley's "The End of the Innocence", a kick ass tune in itself.
1234-5678 Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 Don Henley? Well, "The Heart Of The Matter" is lyrical brilliance as far as that is concerned.
C Dubya 04 Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 Actually, Bruce is still putting out some good music. "Circus on the moon" is quite strong.
AboveAverage484 Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 Everly. It's been corrected. *Hangs head in shame*
Guest Loss Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 This may get me shot, but he always struck me as sort of a male Vanessa Carlton. Or maybe it was Vanessa that struck me as a female Bruce Hornsby. Either way, I guess I was never overly impressed.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 I saw him on Conan recently and he still sounded pretty good. His band was very tight as well.
