starvenger Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 That 'B' looks similar to the logo for DC Comics' Nightwing, but well, whatever.
ChrisMWaters Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 That's not new...it's been around for a while, actually.
2GOLD Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 His shirt should just be Dave in a suit. That would sell much more. But this isn't a bad design, other than it looks like a weapon you would throw at vampires. Would have been better had they left his name off of the shirt. I'm just thankful they didn't try to give him one of their brillant catchphrases.
Crimson Platypus Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 I swear their shirts would sell so much better if they didn't have to put some elaborate design or lame ass catchphrase on the back of them. I wonder if the same people that design these design NASCAR apparel?
ChrisMWaters Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 I'm just thankful they didn't try to give him one of their brillant catchphrases. See, that's why Tazz should design the WWE shirts from now on. Because, according to the ECW DVD, when he was around he designed the ECW shirts.
Guest Loss Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 I loved when WWE started selling the NWO t-shirt and they actually put the WWF.com logo on the back. Way to sell an angle ...
DrVenkman PhD Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 I loved when WWE started selling the NWO t-shirt and they actually put the WWF.com logo on the back. Way to sell an angle ... In fairness, they were company employees during WWE's version of the nWo angle. Now, had WWF.com been on the back of the wCw shirts, that would just be silly.

Taz seems to have a knack for clothing design. Something that can't be said for anyone in the WWE clothing department right now.

SuperJerk Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 http://shopzone.wwe.com/Product_detail.asp...ductId=01-06894 Super Nanny gets her own t-shirt?
DrVenkman PhD Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 Anyone know who the Mystery Superstar shot glasses are? Not that it matters. Also, what does a Griffin have to do with Shelton Benjamin?
2GOLD Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 That Christian shirt is just painful. And when did John Cena take over the "Austin stupid play on words" t-shirt line?
Spaceman Spiff Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 Anyone know who the Mystery Superstar shot glasses are? Not that it matters. Scott Hall?
2GOLD Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 Anyone know who the Mystery Superstar shot glasses are? Not that it matters. It's a random shot glass. Could be any of the upper superstars. You know, it adds INTRIGUE and makes you want to buy them. At least that is the theory.
starvenger Posted January 14, 2005 Author Report Posted January 14, 2005 Also, what does a Griffin have to do with Shelton Benjamin? I think that might be one of his tattoos.
Slickster Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 Also, what does a Griffin have to do with Shelton Benjamin? I think that might be one of his tattoos. It's on his left bicep.
Crimson Platypus Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 That Christian shirt is just painful. And when did John Cena take over the "Austin stupid play on words" t-shirt line? Again, I would actually wear this if the back was blank. But "That's how I roll Christian"? What the hell does that mean?
Lil' Bitch Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 Shelton Benjamin Logo T-shirt Kurt Angle Hero T-shirt William Regal Naughty T-shirt for those wondering.

Again, I would actually wear this if the back was blank. But "That's how I roll Christian"? What the hell does that mean? I think the 'Christian' is not supposed to be a part of the "That's how I roll" catchphrase (chosen probably because it sounds weird coming from Christian's mouth).
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 Those three shirts would be decent without the fucking names on the back CAPTAIN CHARISMA is decent looking and wouldn't shout "WRESTLING" shirt to a non-fan. But nope; they tack on the CHRISTIAN part. Batistia's looks good then they tack on the BATISTIA on it and ruins it. remember why the AUSTIN 3:16 and NWO Shirts sold so well? SUBTLE and not tacky. Whilst those shirts aren't as atrocious as the New Generation era of clothes it should be better.
haws bah gawd Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 Me and a friend have a joke between us that we call "Dave says NO!". It started when he walked over, picked up Benoit when he had the Crossface on HHH during a tag match a few weeks back, Spinebustered him, and got the pin. I would love to see a t-shirt with an image of Dave, after standing up and STILL in the Crossface, when he was ramming Benoit's head into the exposed turnbuckle, with "NO!" in big bold red letters under it. Well, I can dream right? Anyway, to stay on topic, I have the Batista shirt. Picked it up at a houseshow a month ago. My only real complaint is whatever fabric WWE has their shirts made of, shrinks by about 30% while in the dryer, even on the lowest heat setting. It pissed me off when my DAVE shirt shank so much after I bought it.
Placebo Effect Posted January 15, 2005 Report Posted January 15, 2005 That Christian shirt is just painful. And when did John Cena take over the "Austin stupid play on words" t-shirt line? Again, I would actually wear this if the back was blank. But "That's how I roll Christian"? What the hell does that mean? I typically wear a zip-up sweatshirt or jacket, so I might have to go for that one since the back won't be exposed.
Enigma Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 I loved how the original nWo shirt for WCW had no copyright notice anywhere.

Ced Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 What's sad is that the WWE could sell the Pimp Suit by DAVE and we all know they'd still manage to find a way to ruin it somehow.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 The main problem with these shirts is putting the name on it(other than the Regal one, which I just plain dislike). The shirt should be cool enough that non wrestling fans would think its cool, while those who do watch wrestling would recognise the thing and say cool another fan. I'd buy the Angle shirt if they didn't throw the picture on the back, it just looks wrong, man.
