1. Paul London beat Akio (13:32) with a 450 Splash.

*interests me the most. Especially if London gets to do any of his 'special bumps'.

I still don't understand the tag match though...I mean...WTH?

VELOCITY

1. Paul London beat Akio (13:32) with a 450 Splash. 14 Minutes for London and Akio on Velocity.. thats AMAZING! Definately watching Velocity this week coming up..

2. Hardcore Holly beat Rene Dupree (4:15) with the Alabama Slam. Wow.. They let Dupree go for quite awhile in the Rumble, and then they job him to Hardcore Holly... Maybe Holly won because of how stiff he works.. who the hell knows.

3. Charlie Hass beat Spike Dudley (5:01) with a modified powerslam. The right guy won.. that's good. Could be an okay match.

SMACKDOWN!

1. Eddie Guerrero beat Kenzo Suzuki (4:17) with a Frog Splash. Not too long so it can probably hide some of Kenzo's weaknesses... and Eddie wins so thats a thumbs up.

2. Luther Reigns & Danny Basham vs. Mark Jindrak & Doug Basham went to a no contest (9:34) when The Undertaker interfered. Uhh.... What? First off we got mixed up teams? What the hell? and The Undertaker interfered? Umm... okay.

3. Funaki beat Chavo Guerrero (7:55) with a jumping swinging DDT. Looking foward to this.. it should be decent

4. John Cena beat Orlando Jordan (5:01) with the FU. This will be over with the crowd, but its not a long match so Cena will start the offence, then Jordan will cheap shot and get a few moves.. before Cena comes back with his trademarks and wins

5. Kimono Match: Torrie Wilson beat Hiroko (1:43) by removing Hiroko's Kimono. At least it's short?

6. Kurt Angle beat Rey Mysterio Jr. (17:13) with an Ankle Lock. Wow... this is going to make me watch Smackdown this week.. along with Chavo vs Funaki. This should be amazing.

Now, this is one of the first times in a long time that I'm going to watch both Smackdown and Velocity in the same week. Looks to be two good shows :).

DARK MATCH

7. The Undertaker beat Heidenreich (17:04) via pinfall. betcha Taker vs Heidenreich was a great dark match.. for Japanesse fans.. lol

5. Kimono Match: Torrie Wilson beat Hiroko (1:43) by removing Hiroko's Kimono.

I'll bet the mortgage that Torrie's kimono comes off somehow anyway, to a HUGE pop.

From Observer (which has non-mixed teams for the Bashams match)

Shane McMahon welcomed everyone to the show

Velocity

Paul London b Akio (who is well known in Japan as Jimmy Yang from All Japan). They gave these guys 13:32

Bob Holly b Rene Dupree with the Alabama slam

Charlie Haas b Spike Dudley with a powerslam

Smackdown

Eddie Guerrero b Kenzo Suzuki with a frog splash in 4:17. Suzuki claimed he was the most popular Japanese athlete in the world, even more than Hideki Matsui. I guess that was his attempt to turn heel

Bashams NC Luther Reigns & Mark Jindrak in a tag title match when Undertaker came out and attacked Reigns & Jindrak (9:34)

Funaki b Chavo Guerrero (7:55) with a DDT. Funaki was super over of course.

John Cena b Orlando Jordan in the WWE title tournament with an FU in 5:01

Torrie Wilson b Hiroko in a kimono bra and panties match

JBL and Big Show did a confrontation promo building up the PPV that everyone knows to skip

Big Show then called out Akebono. He claimed Akebono is the Japanese Big Show but he's the Big Show all over the world. They went face-to-face but shook hands. Apparently there was a Japanese angle set up out of this as Sadaharu Tanigawa claimed Akebono had breached his contract by being part of a WWE television show, but it's just an angle

Kurt Angle b Rey Mysterio in 17:13 with an ankle lock. Said to be a great match

Dark match

Undertaker b John Heidenreich in 17:04. I guess they needed to torture the fans on the way out

13:32 for London/Akio III? AWESOME. I cannot wait to see that. I loved their other matches and that was with less than half of this time. This is great.

Plus Smackdown sounds pretty decent aside from 17 minutes for Angle/Rey, which should be great. This sounds repetitive, but I've also loved their other matches. Cannot wait to see that.

Is that Velocity on tonight or next week?

next week (2/12)

Here is this week's preview:

VELOCITY PREVIEW

Feb. 5, 2005

The Royal Rumble has ended and the road to WrestleMania is officially underway. But before WrestleMania, SmackDown! will have another pay-per-view event Feb. 20, No Way Out. JBL will be taking on Big Show in the first ever Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match. Who will the winner face at WrestleMania, though?

Raw's Batista won the Royal Rumble, but he hasn't made a final decision on which title he will fight for. General Manager Theodore Long has offered him a lucrative contract to come to SmackDown! but a decision hasn't been made. So, the GM set up a tournament to decide the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship. Take a look back at Booker T and Eddie Guerrero's first round matchup from this week's SmackDown!

Plus, take a look back at some classic WrestleMania moments such as Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit's classic confrontation from WrestleMania X-Seven. The match was voted as one of the top 10 matches ever by WWE Superstars.

Don't miss Velocity this Saturday at 11/10 p.m. CT on Spike TV.

5. Kimono Match: Torrie Wilson beat Hiroko (1:43) by removing Hiroko's Kimono.

Good to see that Vince McMahon remembers to show Japan the integrity of wrestling in North-America.

and 17 minutes to boot, ugh...

I see they can give Angle/Mysterio 17 minutes but not Jericho/Benoit?

and Hardcore Holly is STILL going over younger stars...

HHH's on Raw though. There was a possability he could've gotten showed up if Benoit and Jericho got a little bit of time.

I think I'm going to check out Angle vs Rey this week. That's the one I'm looking forward to.

Reason why Jericho/Benoit problay didn't get enough time because of the World Title match. And the World Title match should get more time, because it means more then an opening match between 2 people who aren't currently at the main event level.

It's all about Akio-London and Rey-Angle. I am looking forward to Benoit-Jericho as well.

Its just sad that they give Akio and London (two jobbers pretty much) more time than Jericho/Benoit.
