Open the Muggy Gate 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2005 I can't believe no one has mention that guy who flipped on the top rope and crotched himself on the STEEL bolt! I don't know who it was, but damn...

Guest BDC Report post Posted February 16, 2005 I remember watching Awesome do that when it was broadcast. I kinda thought he didn't do it hard enough b/c they didn't leave my television immediately...

Dobbs 3K 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2005 Most of the backyard spots were just brutal. I laughed seeing the guy in the gorilla suit completely miss the table on that swanton bomb and land flat on the ground. Looked like that probably hurt a lot. haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2005 yeah i've never seen that Goldberg one either, what did the other guys do? I too would like a litle more information on this. What show did this take place at? It seemed after Goldberg went headfirst into the corner post, he was completely knocked out. Kronik didnt seem to know what to do from that point. Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2005 I've seen Ric Blade do the exact same thing off of a semi trailer. And he's supposed to be a professional. edit: refering to the gorilla
Dace59 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2005 Ric Blade is only a professional at botching.
cameron chaos 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2005 One of the guys from the Insane Clown Posse, I believe. I dunno which one though. I can't tell them apart. Awesome delivers an Awesomebomb to Shaggy on the bus. In an unscripted spot, Shaggy falls off the bus after the Awesomebomb. Credit: DDTdigest.com Good memory, MM. That guy that jumped off his roof with the Kryptonite Krunch deserves what he got. Anyone that thinks jumping off a house roof through a table for any reason should be punished for their stupidity. Liger mocking Sasuke always makes me smile, planned fall or not. A guy dressed as a cartoon character mocking someone else dressed like ninja... genius. The Metal Maniac 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2005 Anyone that thinks jumping off a house roof through a table for any reason should be punished for their stupidity. The best part of that video is the fact that the guy is too fucking stupid to even land on the table properly; he hits the table feet-first, which pretty much destroys any chance of it cushoning the fall at all. You gotta feel for the guy who was willing to take that; I mean, he HAS to be a complete and utter moron to allow someone to do that. And didn't Ric Blade climb back up the trailer and try again? I dunno, it mighta been someone else...whatever happened to him anyway? Did he cripple himself? Liger mocking Sasuke always makes me smile, planned fall or not. A guy dressed as a cartoon character mocking someone else dressed like ninja... genius. That was pretty comical. I think more wrestlers should do stuff like that; you know, mock the guy who screwed up. It always bugs me that they try to cover up blown spots by doing it again, or the announcers will start saying that he "just barely missed, but still made contact". If a guy obviously screws up, they should just say that he screwed up, and chalk it up to the fact that it's a high-risk move. I mean, nobody's perfect. Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2005 I just like seeing Kevin Nash's three second comeback. It was funnier when it was set to the Chariots of Fire theme though. This is the one file I'll never delete from my computer.
NYU 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2005 Awesome video. My only problem is I don't see how Flair's People's Elbow was a botch or anything. I'm not exactly sure why that was included.... Sylvan Grenier with the terrible dropkick, followed by the botched kip-up was just gold though. I had never seen that one before.
Enigma 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2005 I had never seen Grenier messing up the kip-up until now. And boy, that UT chokeslam to Hogan was just as pathetic as I remember it.
Guest curry_man2002 Report post Posted February 17, 2005 I had never seen Grenier messing up the kip-up until now. I beleive this was on the first live raw in the uk in the first week of January.
Fökai 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2005 The Kryptonite Krunch off the top of the house has to be the dumbest *planned* spot in the history of wrestling and its incarnates. EDIT: Look at the reaction of Cole and Tazz during the botched F-5 on A-Train -- Cole puts his hands behind his head, while Tazz looks down with his face buried in his hands. They were DEFINITELY fearing the worst. EDIT #2: Jackie Gayda needs to get back into a wrestling ring, STAT. Her ability to throw herself all over the ring without any provocation is an potential asset to the company.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2005 I'd still like to know the list of injuries sustained from that move (KK off the roof)
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted February 17, 2005 Greniers botched kip up was a week or two before New Years Revolution (fought Shelton Benjamin if he's not clearly visible in video). The first live UK show was in October of 2004. This show was just somewhere. Then he fucks up the finish by not kicking out of a pinfall attempt, so the referee has to pretend he did. Guest BDC Report post Posted February 17, 2005 Guy coming off the roof? I feel sorry for him in no way. Matter of fact, I would've liked to have kicked him while he was laying there.

Guest Stunt Granny Report post Posted February 18, 2005 Kurt suplexing Shane into the KOR sign over and over again until it finally shattered is one of the most disturbing 3 minutes in WWE history. Especially the first one when Shane comes down directly on the top of his head and you can clearly hear the "clunk" sound his head makes on the concrete. Yeah, God help us if idiots like that end up pro-creating and bringing more roof-diving jackasses into this world. I don't at all wish death on the moron, but an injury prohibiting him from ever having children would've been a blessing to the human race.
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2005 I'm no Goldberg hater, but I couldn't help laughing at him knocking himself stupid against Kronik. Kronik looking at each other like 'WTF do we do now?' was great.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2005 The Saturn incident that led to him doing the angle with the mop was on there, too. That guy could have easily avoided landing like that. The only spot that really made me cringe was the botched Lionsault.

Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2005 Some fat guy breaking his leg in ECW was better. It didn't look as sick but it was funnier because of the long set up where he was supposed to leap across the ring, and he went about 6 inches and broke his leg.
