nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2005 Green Bay Packers - Bart Starr St. Louis Cardinals - Ozzie Smith It's weird that you mixed oldschool & current like that ... one would presume that you would have either referenced two old-timers (e.g. Starr & Stan Musial) or two current/recent guys (e.g. Favre and Ozzie). It's not a bad thing, just an interesting thing.

It's not a bad thing, just an interesting thing. Yeah I see what you mean. It's probably cause I'm a Cardinals fan, and the other fans I talk to seem to all equate St. Louis with Ozzie Smith and vice versa in terms of sports. Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted February 24, 2005 NBA: Vancouver Grizzlies: Bryant Reeves what a way to be remembered. Ripper 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2005 NBA: Vancouver Grizzlies: Bryant Reeves what a way to be remembered. One of the most disappointing players to be picked in the top 5 of an NBA Draft, and when he finally retires, the team gets good. You are not going to call Bryant reeves one of the top disappointing picks when Pervis Ellison, Michael Olighwagldkjalkandi, Joe Smith, Shawn Bradly, and Sam Bowie are RIGHT there. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2005 Some of these teams I don't associate a player, I associate a coach. Like North Carolina, I think Dean Smith And Indiana, I think Bob Knight So many good players came out of there, it's hard to just say a player name.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2005 Yeah the nature of college sports makes it harder to pick one player that represents the team. Like Jordan is Chicago Bulls more than North Carolina, easily.
