darth vader being luke's father

lots of people would probably count rosebud, but i don't think it's THAT well-known. if you stop a random person on the street, they probably wouldn't know what it is, and when i watched 'kane' for the first time i didn't know.

Bruce Willis is dead in "Sixth Sense".

But OMG IT WAS SHOCKING!

How anyone didn't figure that out five minutes into the movie still baffles me.

Tom Hanks dies in Philadelphia is the only well-known one not listed.

I honestly never guessed that Bruce Willis was dead. I don't know what happened, I'm usually good at picking stuff like that up. I knew the ending of The Others quite literally five minutes into it, and I watched that on a recommendation without seeing so much as a trailer or knowing anything about it. My record is Unbreakable which I guessed about two seconds in. The opening card about comic books gave it away. It's still the only M. Night movie I particularly like.

Oh, I watched Identity a couple days ago. Guessed the first twist during the opening credits there. Was off on the second twist. I rather liked it anyway.

Speaking of the double twist, you know what movie is good? Devil's Advocate. Pacino was chewing up scenery and shitting it out. Keanu Reeves is probably the worst actor who still manages to be in a majority of movies I like. I'm not sure if the end of that is well known or not.

Yeah, every sports movie. I loved it in Kingpin when he lost to Big Ern, didn't see that one coming. I think I like that movie even more than Big Lebowski.

Eh, American audiences almost always pull for the underdog. Otherwise, why make the journey if they're only going to lose? That's why they changed the ending of Dodgeball, test audiences hated it.

What was the real ending?

EDIT: Or original.

Without spoiling the real ending for anyone who didn't see it, I'd say it was probably the exact opposite.

Debbie doesn't really Do Dallas ... she just whores around for a while and then sleeps with her boss.

I love that movie.

The first porno I ever owned was the Original Debbie trilogy, all copied onto one tape. The only thing that sucked was that they were taped 1, then 3, then 2, so I had to FF through the middle third to watch the trilogy in order.

And, yes, I too love(d) that movie. Haven't seen any of the new generation ones, though, so can't comment on those.

So they lost their gym? And Ben Stiller didn't get fat?
