Hey, I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything, but there's been rumors that the NBA did that for Jordan, to allow him to avoid a gambling scandal. He's being off for a year so that no one nails him on the steroids bit. This just kills my fantasy team as I went out of my way to aquire him and I gave up Halladay for him.
