I wonder if this will be this century's "montreal Incident" and people will just not let go the fact that Lita and Edge remain while Matt not only gets cheated on but gets fired because of expressing himself

More like the Ric Flair crap with Bischoff in WCW when there were huge "WE WANT FLAIR" chants everywhere they went.

On watching Lita last week in that segment with Kane, she actually came across as heely, even without the chants.

Edge is getting the chants, too, but as a heel, it's OK. Trish the heel is over and pretty popular, Lita the face is getting chants to rival "you sold out" at 'Mania 20. Wouldn't it just make sense to turn Lita heel officially? To me, the appeal of chanting "you screwed Matt" at Lita is because she's a face, because it's out of the norm. As a heel it might work well.

Good job by Trish trying to act like the chants were for her but ... no point trying

In my mind I get the picture of Edge walking backstage, rubbing his hands together and grinning evilly to the strains of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch."

This guy is such an asshole!

His gimmick should be to walk around, smoking a cigarette, spitting out Denis-Leary-esque quotes.

Details of an interview with Matt Hardy:

http://www.liveaudiowrestling.com/wo/news/...t.asp?aID=12989

-- He said that he'd filmed some vignettes for his return. These were filmed by Matt, along with help from Jeff and Amy (Lita). He would have come back as a vigilante, Punisher-style character, driven over the edge by losing everything to Kane and sticking up for the little guy. His tagline would have been, "The Scar Is a Symbol", referencing the scar on his knee.

Duuude. well now he can do it for real.

Well, maybe Matt Hardy can still have that gimmick when he shows up to TNA? He could take out Jeff Jarrett.

With the way that Matt is bitching and encouraging people into realizing just how fucked over he is, I wonder if he realizes that he's further burning his bridges by ranting on a message board about how cool it is that people are chanting for him and how he was a real company man and got screwed, etc.

I mean, I don't get the feeling that his departure was so grim that they wouldn't invite him back. His brother's departure was over something worse, and even then they held the door open with that "Well, we'd love to have Jeff back when he isn't a junkie" thing.

Matt's scorched earth strategy is only going to backfire, as he'll be working in gyms for the rest of his life instead of laying low until the Hardy's tag team return to SmackDown or something.

"-- He said that Edge is the superstar who dumped a bloody mary on Amy Weber,

as cited by Amy in this interview."

Wasn't that rumored to have been Randy Orton?

I think Orton was the one who took a shit in someones purse, but the bloody mary one was never cleared up.

Maybe it's better *not* to return, in his case. I know I would rather hold a steady office job then work someplace that would be willing to drop me at a moment's notice without much provocation.

"The Scar is a Symbol"? That seems pretty lame to me.

Oh well, good luck to him in TNA or if he comes back to WWE. Maybe it's just me, but I do find it funny that he can still talk to Lita, but can't to Edge. Didn't they both do something awful?

here's a great line:

"He tells a story about when he first started the Mattitude thing and was taping a promo. Stephanie (and he says that she is hard worker, busts her ass, know what shes doing) was there watching and he ended the promo with "Matt Hardy, Version One." and she stopped the taping and asked him what was that about. He said that he had done it a few times and a few fans were doing the hand sign, he thought it would be cool. Then she said "OK, you can do it, but I'm telling you right now, that will never get over." The DJs laugh."

regarding the clip of the Trish/Lita segment that someone posted... while the chants are funny... man that video clip just reminds me why i stopped watching that crap. cringe-inducing "acting", really bad lines, really bad segment. ugh.

Watched the clip, funny funny shit

What's not so funny however is that, as far as I can recall, over the last two years the two biggest crowd heat segments I can think of were this and Brockberg. Two shoot incidences created more crowd heat than any scripted segment that I can recall in that time period. Think about that one...

I'll also second what metro said

To Matt Hardy: I'm sorry that your girlfriend cheated on you with your best friend, and I understand your anger, but it's time to move on. Quit bitching and be a man.

It's not so much because it's shoot, but because it's MSG, and one way or another, the regulars at that building will find a way to be entertained, even if the match going on in front of them is one of the worst programs of the year.

holy shit! He has to post them. He frikken HAS TO. It's demanded.

Not because I'm eager to see them or anything (I dont really care Lita isn't al that attractive) but just for the sleaze factor. Its the perfect next step for this storyline.

if I want to see shredded roast beef, I will hit up Arby's...

I don't really want to see her down south ... but if he could share some good titty pictures from when she was younger & hotter, I wouldn't be above taking a peak or two.

If only he had the balls to release those.

Seriously. He'll be the "better man, take the high road, not be bitter, blah blah" and won't release them.

However, if Jeff needs some drug money....

He certainly gives the "I'm trying to be the better man" vibe. But he isn't being the better man. Which is fine, i would bitch about it too.
