Dark:

 

*CM Punk pinned The Amazing Red. ROH referee Gary Mohere was the referee for the bout.

 

Velocity:

 

*Nunzio & Mark Jindrak defeated Billy Kiidman & Akio.

 

*Rene Dupree defeated Shannon Moore

 

*The Bashams defeated Jose and Joel Maximo.

 

*WWE United States champion Orlando Jordan pinned Scotty 2 Hotty.

 

Smackdown:

 

*Eddie Guerrero cuts a promo, holding Rey's mask from last week, explaining to "Rey" that it's his fault and that he's getting his Latino Heat back. He warns Rey not to let him hurt him.

 

*Heidenreich pinned Spike Dudley.

 

*Backstage, Sharmell goes into Booker T's locker room to check on him before his match with Kurt Angle.

 

*Backstage, MNM and Chavo Guerrero are discussing a six man tag match they have against Paul London & Charlie Haas & Hardcore Holly.

 

*Josh Matthews interviewed Kurt Angle, who said that Booker's wife is a "guttersl*t" and that Angle wants to have "dirty, perverted sex with her."

 

*Chavo Guerrero & WWE Tag Team champions MNM defeated WWE Cruiserweight champion Paul London & Charlie Haas & Hardcore Holly when Chavo pinned London with his feet on the ropes.

 

*John Bradshaw Layfield comes out to promote a book (not sure if it's new or a new edition of his old one). John Cena comes out and they brawl, with a good part of the roster coming out for a pull apart.

 

*Jimmy Jacobs defeated defeated Eddie Guerrero via disqualification. Guerrero put Rey's mask on Jacobs and beat him while he was wearing it. Guerrero was disqualified for suplexing Jacobs across a chair.

 

*They played John Cena's music video.

 

*Matt Morgan pinned Funaki.

 

*Backstage, Booker T was angry about what Kurt Angle said and told Sharmell to stay in the back.

 

*Carlito's Cabana with The Big Show. Carlito offers Show an offer he can't refuse - a chance for them to be partners. He shows footage from Wrestlemania and mocks Show, saying that they can be great together. Show turns him down. Carlito grabs an apple but before he can bite it, Show bites it...and faints, with the idea being it was poisoned. Carlito takes another apple and spits it in the face of the unconscious Big Show saying, "One bad apple can ruin a bunch."

 

*Booker vs. Kurt Angle went to a no contest - After five minutes, Angle runs to the back to find Sharmell. Booker follows and hears her screaming in the locker room. He bursts in and she's terrified on the floor. Angle blindsides him and attacks him, throwing him into the lockers as Sharmell screams "Why?"

 

Dark Match:

 

*WWE champion John Cena defeated John Bradshaw Layfield and WWE United States champion Orlando Jordan in a handicap match.

Agreed. They could just bring up their past history (trading the WCW title, Angle being the one who got Booker on Smackdown, their alliance against John Cena) compare their accomplishments (both are 5 time world champions), and present them as two competitive rivals, but their instead its based around Sharmell. Plusthe whole "rape" thing seems more than a little out of character for Angle.

SMACKDOWN TAPING IN READING, PA LIVE REPORT

I Saw you guys already had some results up. Here are some more anyways. Keep up the great work on the site.

 

First off the arena looked to be only 2/3rds full. Which is not good considering that A. It's the first time the Sovereign Center has gotten a live TV taping and B. The arena isn't that big.

 

Velocity and Dark Matches

 

CM Punk defeated The Amazing Red in a dark match

 

Kidman and Akio vs Nunzio and Mark Jindrak. Jindrak and Nunzio won after Jindrak pinned Akio.

 

Renee Dupree defeated Shannon Moore

 

The Bashams defeated Jose and Joel Maximo

 

Orlando Jordan defeated Scotty Too Hotty

 

Smackdown

 

Smackdown opened up with an interview with Eddie Guerrero who had new music. Eddie said that he attacked Rey because Rey wanted it. Eddie was holding Rey's mask and talking to it and said Rey made him do it and it wasn't his fault and he didn't want to do what he did to Rey and accusing the fans of having lived vicariously through him. He also says he got all his Latino heat back now. Eddie threatens to hurt Rey's children by hurting their daddy. Says if Rey comes back at Judgment day he'll take his life.

 

Heidenreich vs Spike Dudley. Heidenreich says Spike told him he wouldn't be his friend and then goes to the crowd to find a friend and then picks out a young kid who he makes his cornerman for the night. Heidenreich then beats Spike in a squash.

 

Booker T and Sharmell are backstage. Booker says he's ready for Kurt Angle tonight and kisses his wife.

 

Chavo and MNM are backstage tonight and Chavo says that last week was the most intense he's ever seen Eddie and they will be facing London and mystery partners.

 

Angle is backstage giving an inter view. He reminds Josh Matthews of what he did to him last time. Angle then calls Booker T's wife a gutter slut and then angle says he wants to have sex with her. and not just any sex but sick perverted sex.

 

MNM and Chavo Guerrero vs. Paul London and Hardcore Holly and Charlie Hass. Decent match which Chavo and MNM win after Chavo pins London with his feet on the ropes

 

JBL has an interview in the ring. JBL says he's proud his book is being re-released and says people are saying it's the best book since the Bible. Says he's here to build America up while Cena is here to tear it down. He says that saying I quit never crossed his mind once through everything he went through as champion. He guarantees that he will bust open Cena's face. JBL then says that making another man say I quit means you own his soul. Cena then runs out and starts fighting with JBL and the Cabinet attacks Cena before the locker room empties out and breaks up the fight which pours into the lockerroom.

 

Eddie Guerrero vs. Jimmy Jacobs. During the match Eddie puts Rey's mask on Jacobs. Eddie then gets DQed after giving Jacobs the brainbuster on a steel chair like he did the Rey on the steps last week. He then yells at the mask after the match.

 

Matt Morgan vs. Funaki. Morgan tells Funaki that people make fun of the way he talks while stuttering the whole time. Funaki then attacks Morgan before the bell but gets little offense in before getting squashed and losing to Morgan.

 

Booker T and Sharmell are backstage and Booker calls Kurt Angle a sick sadistic freak

 

Carlito's Cabana. Carlito offers The Big Show a job as his bodyguard and says they would be unstoppable together. and says Show needs him so he doesn't embarass himself like he did at Wrestlemania 21. Show tells Carlito that he plays seconds to no one and that his offer isn't cool. Carlito grabs and Apple and Show takes it from him. Show then grabs Carlito for the chokeslam and starts chewing on the Apple but falls down in pain because the Apple was poisoned. Carlito then sayis it takes one bad Apple to spoil the bunch and Show got the bad apple and then spits another Apple in shows face and dumps the basket of Apples on Show. Show is then helped out of the ring writhing in pain.

 

Kurt Angle vs. Booker T. This match ends in Kurt Angle being counted out after running to the lockerroom into Booker T's lookerroom. The door then shuts and you hear Sharmell screaming. When Booker T busts the door down Kurt Angle then attacks him and gives him a beat down. Thats the end of the TV portion In the Main Event Dark Match. JBL came out first and says hes giving Cena the chance to say I quit since his partner show won't be able to team with him since he's backstage puking.

 

Cena comes out then and defeats JBL and Orlando Jordan in a handicap match after giving Jordan the FU. After the match Cena then cuts a promo for the crowd.

 

Overall, the show wasn't bad live. Our original seats were on the side of the Titantron. so we wouldn't have been able to see anything. however since the place had a lot of empty sections we moved to Better seats during Velocity. The crowd was only really hot for a few guys so I guess I better have enjoyed tonight. It took the WWE three plus years to bring a TV taping here and with the crowd size I don't see them returning anytime soon.
