I love Matt Hardy, but I've been a fan of Edge for a longer time. I loathe Edge and Lita for their actions toward Matt, but Edge is still one of my favorite wrestlers, I'd still fuck the shit out of Lita, and I'd love to see Edge win the World Title. In other news.... I attended WrestleMania 21 in L.A. just a month and a half ago. Now, this was announced tonight. WWE RAW & SMACKDOWN! I used to hate it when every time I logged onto this forum after Raw, it would take too long to load up. As for Edge and Lita, it almost seems like since Matt Hardy's not going to be back in WWE for a while that the pairing is going to seem pointless within the next few weeks, due to the fans wanting him to return to get revenge on Edge and Lita. cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2005 The Lita/Edge stuff is problematic because the natural thought is to do what they did tonight but the thing is no one wants to see Kane get the revenge, which is what basically has to happen storywise. Thing is, Matt is who was wronged in real life, so it sets up a "Kane getting revenge by proxy" storyline that won't jibe. Also I think them acknowledging Edge/Lita makes fans wonder if it was just an angle and that was half the fun of fucking with Edge and Lita if you're at the arena, the taboo nature of it being outside the storyline. And hey, if HHH does come back and squashes Edge, I can't say I'd weep over it. Edge might be one guy who fully deserves the HHH treatment. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If people don't like Edge because they never have, fine, but no one is crying for Kevin Sullivan over what Benoit did to him 9 years ago. The "ECW Rules" thing reminded me of Klassic Kurt. It's not because I was ever a Hardy Boyz fan or because I hate Edge, it's just that the situation at hand is pretty close to a situation in my personal life early in this year. I mean we all knew it was coming, but to actually see it come off on TV was just fucking wrong. Sorry to those who think "STFU it's just an angle" it's just downright fucked up they'd steal a real life storyline and turn it into this; with Kane now supposed to be playing Matt. Seeing Lita and Edge making out and shit just seemed worse than Katy Vick to me. I was screaming "Fuck RAW" I'm never watching again to my friends in response to the end.
