There used to be a movie theater near me that allowed you to bring in your own drinks if they were in a plastic bottle so this is what my buddies and I did. It's decent enough, plus no hangover so that's always good.

Do any of you guys have friends that know that you message board? Would you tell them?

 

To me it seems too embarrassing. Posting about stuff on the internet still carries a stigma of geekdom, and until we have someone who can break that stereotype, we're all lame.

I have told a story or 2 about message boarding, but normally it's because someone will post something that I reference in another story (a movie to see, or a TV show spoiler, or sports news or something like that) ... and I always preface it with a self-depreciating comment mocking myself for posting on a message board.

Speaking of which, I'm extremely glad I got the sig image I got. She's my favorite character/s, and it's the coolest part of the opening. I wish it were a shade bigger so you could really see the stars whirling past in the background.

My best friend in the world, who is everything that I am not, got me to watch a couple episodes of that via adult swim, which she watches compulsively and I generally ignore. I found parts of it entertaining. Generally, the only anime that amuses me is pornographic, and even then I don't really like it.

I agree with this. I've watched anime on occasion, but I can't really be into it, into it. One needs only to work at a bookstore, or hell just to observe the people in the manga section for proof on how sad some of those people who are into it are. It's like they're entirely, completely out of touch with any sort of social reality.

Fear Havoc, I like your sig, but I'm still under the impression that the entire debacle is/was a work, judging from how quickly Edge and Lita "broke up" after the thing went down.
