Crimson Platypus Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 I'm tempted to see the effects of Vodka mixed with Gatorade is. There used to be a movie theater near me that allowed you to bring in your own drinks if they were in a plastic bottle so this is what my buddies and I did. It's decent enough, plus no hangover so that's always good.
nl5xsk1 Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 Do any of you guys have friends that know that you message board? Would you tell them? To me it seems too embarrassing. Posting about stuff on the internet still carries a stigma of geekdom, and until we have someone who can break that stereotype, we're all lame. I have told a story or 2 about message boarding, but normally it's because someone will post something that I reference in another story (a movie to see, or a TV show spoiler, or sports news or something like that) ... and I always preface it with a self-depreciating comment mocking myself for posting on a message board.
Art Sandusky Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 People know what I do because they ask me where a lot of the weird links I send them or funny pictures came from. When I was a Moderator, I used it as an excuse to have to use my friends' computers, claiming I had promised some sort of shift I'd work.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted May 28, 2005 Author Report Posted May 28, 2005 Kotz will go to any length to post.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted May 28, 2005 Author Report Posted May 28, 2005 Both of my housemates have their own message board habits. So, when Agent came down here—knowing they wouldn't think it odd—I told them that he and I post at this one board. I never told them what board, though. Heavens, no.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 28, 2005 Report Posted May 28, 2005 Some people don't understand scatplay as well as others.
Star Ocean 3 Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 I get turned on when girls beat me at video games
... Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 Bad News Brown was a security guard for the grounds of the place I used to live.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted July 1, 2005 Author Report Posted July 1, 2005 There's a Gilmore Girls thread in the tv folder but I hate that folder SO NOW WHAT
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 Start one elsewhere. It'll be even cooler than Patrick's Dragonball Z thread.
Art Sandusky Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 I never started a Dragonball Z thread. I was going to start a Paranoia Agent one though, as all the people I've shown it except one have also loved it.
Art Sandusky Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 Speaking of which, I'm extremely glad I got the sig image I got. She's my favorite character/s, and it's the coolest part of the opening. I wish it were a shade bigger so you could really see the stars whirling past in the background.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 My best friend in the world, who is everything that I am not, got me to watch a couple episodes of that via adult swim, which she watches compulsively and I generally ignore. I found parts of it entertaining. Generally, the only anime that amuses me is pornographic, and even then I don't really like it.
Guest T®ITEC Posted July 2, 2005 Report Posted July 2, 2005 Piss sent me a copy of the opening and now I can't stop watching it. How very creepy.
tekcop Posted July 2, 2005 Report Posted July 2, 2005 Hey, I just noticed T(thatthingi'mnotgoingtotype)ITEC has an Excel Saga avatar. How neat.
Art Sandusky Posted July 2, 2005 Report Posted July 2, 2005 Piss sent me a copy of the opening and now I can't stop watching it. How very creepy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's fuckin' A/V heroin, man.
tekcop Posted July 3, 2005 Report Posted July 3, 2005 Awesome. I didn't even know anyone knew about that show until the last time I went ot Suncoast and saw all the merchandise stuff based off of it.
Nighthawk Posted July 4, 2005 Report Posted July 4, 2005 Anime is cool when it's a fringe. When it's an enhancement to your personality, like, it was an enhancement to the Kill Bill movie (which I don't like as much as most people), then it's cool. Being into it into it, is not cool.
haVoc Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 ~BUMP~ Everyone knows my avatar and sig are the best on the board, right?
Sideburnious Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 ^ Yeah, who is that in your avatar man? It's pretty funny.
Carnival Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 Well i Know who it's NOT..... ^ Lushus
Guest Vitamin X Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 I never started a Dragonball Z thread. I was going to start a Paranoia Agent one though, as all the people I've shown it except one have also loved it. <--- the "one". As Milky pointed out, Anime is cool when it's a fringe. When it's an enhancement to your personality, like, it was an enhancement to the Kill Bill movie (which I don't like as much as most people), then it's cool. Being into it into it, is not cool. I agree with this. I've watched anime on occasion, but I can't really be into it, into it. One needs only to work at a bookstore, or hell just to observe the people in the manga section for proof on how sad some of those people who are into it are. It's like they're entirely, completely out of touch with any sort of social reality.
Sideburnious Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Man, you've got to watch cowboy bebop. I'd put the tv show and movie up with any normal mainstream tv and movies. The plots, storyline and music are excellent.
Maztinho Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Man, you've got to watch cowboy bebop. I'd put the tv show and movie up with any normal mainstream tv and movies. The plots, storyline and music are excellent. Bebop is excellent, and not really WTF was that Anime. It's fairly straightforward. Yesterday, I ate some cheese off the floor.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Fear Havoc, I like your sig, but I'm still under the impression that the entire debacle is/was a work, judging from how quickly Edge and Lita "broke up" after the thing went down. But it's still awesome. I'd enjoy it more if I saw the thing in a different light. I hate Matt Young but his avatar is boss. I'm proud to not have not entered the Civil War flavor of the 3 months.
Art Sandusky Posted July 14, 2006 Report Posted July 14, 2006 Carnival did his job and killed the thread, so why did it resume?
