Garth Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Here's to let everyone at TSM know that WJM and I will be relocating at the end of the month to Cardiff Uni. This proves us both to be of a high intellectual capacity and all that jazz. Also, we're going to be neighbours and go out and get pissed allot at our student union which is regarded as the best in the country. Hurray for us.
TheFranchise Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Here's to let everyone at TSM know that WJM and I will be relocating at the end of the month to Cardiff Uni. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> She already lives there!
TheFranchise Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 I love the picture of the Dudleyz which says 'They're Coming' - Great in this thread.

TheFranchise Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 If it helps, she actually lives in a place called Blackwood, which if I remember is full of card shops. So you can still be right. ?
Giuseppe Zangara Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 You should pick a major other than graphic design, champ.
nl5xsk1 Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 I think changing the pics so you two looked like you were back-to-back would have helped the aesthetics of the promo. Just my two cents, or whatever monetary equivalent you use for that cliche.
Garth Posted September 6, 2005 Author Report Posted September 6, 2005 Well I'm doing a degree in Philosophy, Religion and Ethics, I don't really feel that my ability to create graphics is ever going to be called upon there. Thanks for the advice though, chief. We still use the my two cents cliche here, saying my two pence just dosen't sound right, ever.

Just my two cents, or whatever monetary equivalent you use for that cliche. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or no picks of the dude, w/ another of WJM in its place.
Sideburnious Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 I had a friend who went to Univercity in Wales. He got sick of it and went home without telling anybody. They all thought he was dead. Just something to think about.

So you can still be right. ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Isn't that where the Manic Street Preachers came from? Or some such. Philosophy, Religion and Ethics? Well...good luck!
Guest Vitamin X Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 The fuck's a "student union"?
Matt Young Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 WJM is hot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Quoted for agreement. I thought everyone knew what a student union was...
spiny norman Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 I've been to Cardiff. It was an okay place. Good castle.
welshjerichomark Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Castles suck. You can't buy alcohol in a castle. Nah seriously, Caerphilly castle is so much better. Oh and a students union, in this context, is a place where students hang out. In Cardiff the union has shops, bars, a nightclub, banks and a gym. Its really nifty.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 A students union, in this context, is a place where students hang out. Stand/sit around, do nothing. "Union" is a perfect name for this...
Mystery Eskimo Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 In England, they also demonstrate against the introduction of heavy student tuition fees. The Government then proceeds to ignore them and increase the fees.

"Union" is a perfect name for this... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've ragged on kkk for tired retreads of jokes, but this made me laugh. Thumbs up, from your favorite partial Jew.
Boon Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 In England, they also demonstrate against the introduction of heavy student tuition fees. The Government then proceeds to ignore them and increase the fees. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I hear they drive on the wrong side of the road, too!
TheFranchise Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 No, we drive on the RIGHT side of the road! There, that'll throw a few people off.
Sideburnious Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 To really throw them off tell them how "Tea" and "Dinner" are the same thing too.
TheFranchise Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 They are! They're the same as lunch!
EricMM Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Why do you even HAVE a language if you're going to do such things to it?
Art Sandusky Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 "Political activist, eh? Yeah! What's the last thing you blew up?" "Uh, I blew up a rubber johnny actually, in the union bar! It was hilarious, everyone thought so."
