Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted September 23, 2005 So I wrecked 3 pairs of pants the other day and as a result need to replace at least 1 or 2 of them. The problem is I hate pants that are too tight around the legs. I tend to have a little bit of a problem as the waist will fit fine but not the legs as the material from the pants will be too tight around them. That's great and all for showing off the BUTT but I need something that's light, durable and nontight. Something that's not restrictive when you're exercising though they can't be too loose either. Can anyone help me? I was looking today for pants but couldn't find anything to meet the criteria.

Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted September 23, 2005 wildpegasus scares me. How old is that girl in your sig? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know. I found it on a teenager sight when I accidently clicked on a link. People in a different thread were guessing from around 16 to 26 I think. She sould be 18+ because everything on that site was supposed to be. How do you wreck 3 pairs of pants in 1 day? What a strange man, you are. Well, I put a bunch of clothes in the washing machine and went to put in some detergent. However it was empty so I just picked up the container beside it and put that into the machine. It had a picture of clothes on the back of it so I didn't really think more than twice or 3 times about it. The liquid I put in the machine was bleach. I can't believe nobody has declared this thread pants free yet especially since Bob Barron's arrived. I guess there musn't be any deathvalley readers here. I can honostly say I'm not wearing any pants right now. Back to the topic at hand, this is something that's frustrating for me. I still have an awesome pair of dresspants that fit the bill perfectly but I don't know where those came from.
the max 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2005 I can't believe you mistook bleach for regular detergent. Christ, even I know the difference. Go to Old Navy or Target or something. I get most of my clothes from either place.

And you should word that a little better "I wrecked 3 pairs of pants"...creates an entirely wrong interpretation but I'm sure you wanted us to interpret it wrong anyways. Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2005 But if you buy them and they turn out to be wrong, don't wear them when you go back to return them. You'll slip and fall in mud, thus ruining the very pants you were going to return.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2005 In fact, you're better off never wearing the pants ever, since they'll be ruined. My pants ruin story: In honors chemistry, a girl squirted my pants with sulfuric acid. She said it was water. She was wrong. As I was lifting boxes off a truck for a fundraiser pick-up day, my pants started crumbling.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2005 My pants ruin story: I was in the lunchroom in 9th grade, and I was going through an 80s phase, so I was wearing white jeans. They bet me I couldn't do 100 sit ups, so I said "Right now, bitch!" and I got down and had somebody hold my feet. I had just eaten so on every sit up I farted right in the guy's face who was holding my feet. Everbody was laughing, but he kept holding them and I just kept going. 100! I won, but apparent;y I had also been shitting in my pants. This was why the guy didn't move when I was farting on him, he wanted me to humiliate myself. Big shit stain in my white jeans. Hundreds of people around. I took my shirt off and wrapped it around my waist. Like I said, I was in an 80s phase, so that worked. I walked out and went the fuck home. Got detention for skipping class, but was it worth it? Hell yeah.

Not only do they sell the highest-quality brands (I have a pair of North Face Paramount convertible pants that sound like the kind of thing you are looking for), but you can return ANYTHING, at any time, for any reason. I've worn shirts for a couple of months, then decided I don't like them and brought them back for a full refund. If you wreck something, just bring it back and get another or get you cash back. I've wrecked a lot of pants over the years thanks to working out (I've got a good gym story here but it's too embarassing to let out), nails sticking out of boards and barbedwire (the absolute worst for wrecking clothes) I don't get what he's asking for...try boot cut or carpenter jeans if you don't want the legs to feel tight...is that what you're wanting to know, WP? I don't wear jeans. I've always hated them except when women are wearing them. I currently take 32 inch pants for the waist and I'm 6 foot 1 inch tall. I'm not sure what my leg size is. The problem is I don't want the pants sticking to the legs too much when you're wearing them. Pants that would really let you do stretching without restricting you is what I want. The problem is I don't want the pants sticking to the legs too much when you're wearing them. Pants that would really let you do stretching without restricting you is what I want. If you've got some cash to burn, you might want to try soft shell pants. Pants made of materials such as Polartec Power Shield and Power Stretch, Gore Windstopper Trango, or Schoeller Dynamic combine toughness and durability (they are typically made for mountain, ice and rock climbing) with 4-way stretch comfort, wind and water resistancy (typically they are treated with a DWR finish and are made of a windproof fabric such as those I named). The big disadvantage to these sorts of pants is cost: cheaper models such as the REI Mistral or North Face Apex pants usually run between 75 and 150 dollars. More expensive ones such as Arc'teryx Gamma or Mountain Hardware Alchemy pants cost between 200 and 300 a pair. Though if the Alchemys are anything like the jacket of the same name then they are probably worth the money.
