Silence 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2005 Even with WWE's unnecessary negative DVD about The Warrior (which Warrior, like someone else said, buries himself enough), The Warrior still proves that he's far worse than WWE in his attacks, especially about Heenan and Droz (a cancer victim and a cripple). At least WWE was mature about their attacks on The Warrior, as much as we hate them.

Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2005 His comments about Grisham, Heenan and Droz were very unnecessary, yes. Is he the classic mark for himself? Without question. But his comments, as rambling as they were, and if you go into it knowing that he is talking just to hear himself, they were right on in damning Vince and company for what it was and what it has become over the years, and how he has gone with the "if you are not with me, you are the enemy" mentality. I have no doubt in my mind that Vince would have completely buried Bret if he had not signed on at the eleventh hour. Vince and his cronies have been doing this kind of thing for years and years, its only now coming more and more to light because he is the king of the mountain, and there is nothing in place quite yet to knock him from that perch. Make no mistake, I am not giving Warrior a free pass for his out-of-line comments about Heenan, Droz and Grisham. Far from it. But considering what he believes about them and what had been said about him, I can understand his anger.
Guest Fishyswa Report post Posted September 28, 2005 I'm under the belief that certain opinions can cancel out a person's legitimacy on any issue.. If I know someone's a gay-bashing nut without a sensitivity chip, it's hard to take him seriously when he goes on and on about how bad another person is. I mean really, he doesn't have the perspective to be taken seriously. What's kind of lame about this is, we learned nothing new. Vince is a corporate asshole, Warrior is a crazy prick. The rest is second-hand info coming from a guy who actually thinks his name is Warrior. Couldn't we of gotten at least one story about Patterson queering up business? Epic Reine 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 The HHH interview they put on the Warrior DVD was taken from shooting of HHH's DVD that came out in early-2002. HHH calling anyone unprofessional in 2005 is mind-exploding. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, it's from somewhere in early 2000, because it's from an interview used for the Wrestlemania 2000 two-disc. The only visual proof is have is the leather jacket that Helmsley is wearing, which he stopped wearing before the quad injury. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> HHH continued to wear the jean/leather jacket until he went back to wearing all the dressy stuff in mid-2002. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Under the jacket, he's wearing a DX shirt so that proves it was from 2000. Anyway, that was a great read. It's good to see Warrior defend himself.

Vyce 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 I'm under the belief that certain opinions can cancel out a person's legitimacy on any issue.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I disagree. Warrior is a loon, but some of his points are actually spot on. I am stunned that a blatant homophobe and somebody who fucking mocks cancer patients and parapalegics is considered to be "not that bad" in comparison to Vince McMahon Why? Vince McMahon is a HUGE scumbag, and as much credit as he gets for making wrestling as big as it is (or once was), he also should rightfully get credit for doing many, many things which are overall destructive to the industry. As shitty as Warrior is, I'd rate Vince as at least as bad. Possibly worse, because he has a larger impact on the business as a whole.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 I can't believe that WWE.com actually posted this: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/warriorreply Ultimate Warrior replies to Byte This! invitation Sept. 28, 2005 As promised, WWE.com has Ultimate Warrior's reply to the open invitation to appear on Byte This!, where he was offered an open microphone to talk about anything at all in an uncensored forum. Unfortunately, Warrior declined the offer to speak his mind. He did, however, post the following comment: On WWE's Invitation to Appear on Byte This: "Of course, I do NOT accept this brainless, disgraceful invitation. F*** NO, I do not. You can rescue yourself, Vince. Do your own damage control. I've no ear for your begging anymore. Only if you were on fire would I help you -- it'd just be too hard to resist pissing on you. Open mic? Then let it truly be open. Let your audience have some fresh air. Flush the toilet bowl once. Let them hear something intelligent, decent and truthful for once. Give them, Vince, what they want -- just like you are always bragging the WWE does. Let them be proud for just a few moments that the energetic, intense and colorful Ultimate Warrior persona they loved when they were little kids didn't become a self-pitying, disappointing, broken-down has-been like all the other brittle-minded skeletons traipsing around your locker rooms or now buried in forgotten about graves. Order the queer and the cripple who host the show to read what I have written here and here, and while they do that have them hold up mirrors looking at themselves so they can know exactly the kind of people in your organization I'm writing about. No apologies -- I don't discriminate for the handicapped who sign on to behave degenerately." This is great, it makes Warrior look like that much more of a moron. Guest *KNK* Report post Posted September 29, 2005 Well, Warrior COMPLETELY PWNED the WWE with those statements. I would actually love to see him sue and WIN against the WWE. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Where did he "pwned" the WWE? Was it during his non-sensical rambling? during his bitter insecurity leaking out from every desperate attempt to save his image? Warrior did exactly what WWE wanted him to do, for such a "smart" guy, Warrior allowed himself to be baited by WWE's actions exposing him to be no less of a scumbag then Vince McMahon and rather, a bigger scumbag then Vince McMahon. NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 I remember a few years back a local radio show interviewed Bobby Heenan and the topic of Warrior came up and Heenan ripped him a new asshole saying that he would agree to work certain spots during a match in the back with the participants, then totally blow them off in the ring, leaving them clueless as to how to carry out the match in the ring. He also talked about an incident where Heenan had a hurt neck so he told Warrior to knock him off the ring aporn during the match with a blow to the midsection, and Warrior agreed, yet when it came to match time, he did the clothesline to the head off the ring spot, which injured Heenan moreso. The context of the conversation was basically, guys collecting paychecks because they were roid-monsters, as opposed to actual wrestlers.

The Buzz 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 Well he already pwned WWE over the rights for his name. So if he sued again I'm sure he could win. That's what all this is really about. He didn't let WWE screw him over like they do to many wrestlers, who in turn apologize and come back later on in their careers if allowed. Hell I've been denying he's a little wacky, but even I will admit he speaks what's on his mind before he can think about it. aka he's a bit crazy.

I suppose you could include the graverobbing of Undertaker's parents, the DDP/Sara, Angle/Sharmell and Bischoff/Linda stalker storylines, HHH getting Steph drunk to marry and fuck her, Goldust the gimp, Trish the barking dog and a few other things in the list of tasteless shit Vince has approved. Oh, and the adultery storylines he books himself into every couple of years (Sable, Trish, Stacy). Then you also have Mae Young, Sexual Chocolate and the plastic hand, Victoria the psycho lesbian, Sable/Torrie the lesbians, Dawn Marie marrying and fucking Torrie's dad to get him out the way so she could try seduce Torrie, Heidenreich the poet and anal rapist, Viscera who beat up Trish because she wouldn't fuck him... Warrior may be extremely caustic in his views and have no fear of reprisal but he's far from being on the same scumbag level as Vince.
