It's amazing.

Dang, that thing is amazing. That makes the product look tremendous. If only they could show that whole thing during Raw and somehow get it to all the fans that left when WCW died.

With all of these rumors about Goldberg, Luger, Scott Steiner signing with TNA what are the odds that Buff Bagwell and Rick Steiner are going to get contracts too?

If Rick is signed with Scott...

Happened to catch iMpact. Christ almighty, is Bubba Ray even trying anymore? He's 800 pounds, ghost white wearing flannel a ski cap, a t shirt and workout pants.

I fast forwared through most of the match, but you're right. At a point where D-Von's gassed to the max Bubba is just letting himself go. Although, admittedly, black is not a slimming color.

That main event just stunk of pre-Attitude era television. The four main faces taking out the low-card heels who (minus Young and Skipper) have no reason or purpose of teaming together? It's one thing for the heels to have the eight man tags, but the faces doing it is just lame.

Maverick Matt???? GIVE IT UP TNA. There seriously has to be perverted reason why he's still there.

That Brown/Christian segment was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. There's a reason why The Ultimate Warrior didn't sit down and have a talk with his opponents. Character wise, he was fucking crazy. Monty Brown should be like that, but obviously to a lesser extent. He doesn't have the charisma to threaten someone in a suit.

It's obviously Shelley's going to get squashed big time by Sting since he can't pick up a win over Dutt and Sabin.

Great announcing on the fun Naturals match.

First half of the show was good TV.

There can never be enough Mick Foley clones.

Thought Impact was a horrible lead-in to the ppv last night. Between the Jarrett segment and Brown/Christian segment, those two made me close to switching the channel, then to follow that up with what they considered a main event? Just bad planning and booking all around on this show, with the only exception being the decent AMW-Naturals match, but it just seemed to be there to fill space.

I actually enjoyed the Jarrett segment, but agree on the Brown/Christian and main event sentiments. I think Brown outclasses Christian in most ways. Now if only he could jump off the top rope and apply a chinlock like Christian.

Caught some Xplosion last night. Seems like they have a new ref who's a woman. Never seen a woman wrestling ref before. Tenay and West made some good points about her not being distracted by the likes of Gail and Tracy.

Weird. Did you know that Samoa Joe was a wrestler used on an episode of Distraction

It's currently one of the ones offered on Comcast On Demand, so if you have it...make sure I'm not crazy.

That's so goofy to be watching it and see Samoa Joe come out.

Wonder how much he got paid.

He just kinda DVD'd this chick onto the mat that they're using, that's funny as hell.

Until they start the "repressed" lesbian angle.

I saw the 3-way match between Joe/Daniels/AJ from the last PPV yesterday. It was pretty good, not the quality of the last 3-way they had, though.

There were some sick spots in that match, especially when Daniels and Joe get dumped on their respective heads.

That being said, its time to break that holy trinity up. It seems to me that there was some undercurrent that each of them were starting to get tired of wrestling the other.

*goes and looks at the PPV thread*

--WWE just signed Shannon Moore today. He was not under a contract to TNA. You'd think by now you'd know the rules of the game.

Youknowwho

For Raven's return here's what I think they should do: Christain is defending the title at say, Hard Justice, ref bump usual nonsense with everyone and their brother interfering and Jarrett has the guitar when Raven comes up through the ring and clears out everyone but the two in the title fight, not touching them. He then exits through the crowd. He interfers in various ways through out the months to prevent interference in title matches and screw jobs. Kind of like the Crow Sting thing, but more of a tweener.TNA management tries to get him to sign a contract but he refuses unless he gets Jarrett. Slow build to Jarrett/Raven at Bound for Glory in the upper card.

Is there anyone surprised that Jarrett's issues remain the top program in the company and Christian is already a secondary character?

At least he is not cleaning up dog shit.

TNA Press Release: White Sox Manager Ozzie Guillen Attacks Simon Diamond

Posted by Larry Csonka on 03.15.2006

More White Sox Craziness!

OZZIE GUILLEN JOINS TNA WRESTLING FRACAS

Smashes Simon Diamond with chair

The World Series Champion manager has jumped into pro wrestling – with smashing success.

Ozzie Guillen delivered a vicious left-handed homerun with a steel chair to the back of Simon Diamond after the TNA Wrestling hot-shot arrived unexpected and unwanted at the Chicago White Sox spring training facility in Tucson, Ariz.

Diamond took batting practice, wearing complete White Sox garb, then confronted White Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski and Dale Torborg, the team's strength and conditioning coach, with several teammates nearby.

Guillen came to the defense of his Sox, cracking Diamond with the chair. "Get off my field," Guillen shouted at Diamond.

Full highlights of Guillen's attack will air Saturday, March 18, on TNA iMPACT! (Spike-TV, 11 p.m. ET).

Diamond has had a running feud with Pierzynski and Torborg since last December. Diamond also took exception to TNA Wrestling executives presenting Pierzynski with a championship belt that the White Sox will award to their Player of the Game throughout the 2006 season.

"TNA is thrilled to work with the World Series Champion White Sox," said TNA announcer Mike Tenay. "The no-limit attitude of TNA Wrestling parallels the mindset of the Sox, manager Ozzie Guillen and players like AJ Pierzynski. It's been a great association to this point and we look forward to working with them throughout the 2006 season."

TNA Wrestling features a host of mat veterans, such as Sting, Jeff Jarrett, Konnan and Team 3D. The TNA roster also boasts the rising stars, such as Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Chris Sabin, among others.

TNA Wrestling will move to a Thursday Night primetime slot on Spike TV starting April 13.

Photos and video of Guillen's chair-shot are available from TNA. And the actual chair used by Guillen, since signed by members of the White Sox and TNA Wrestling, soon will be auctioned by the Chicago White Sox to aid White Sox Charities. Visit www.whitesox.com for details.

Well, I don't mind this White Sox nonsense since I'm a fan, but what is everyone else thinking of the furtherment of the White Sox Vs. The Diamonds in the Rough angle? I'm glad AJ Pierzynski turned down the WWE though.
