Of course Brown plays Frye, Ariza, Lee and Robinson for the first 3/4 of the 4th quarter. They bring a shitload of energy, great D, and get the Knicks the lead. Then Marbury, Rose, Barnes and Crawford come in and fuck everything up.

PLAY THE FUCKING ROOKIES!

I get to see Pacers-Heat and Philly-Lakers this week. I just got Smush as a free agent in one of my fantasy teams, he better not dissapoint me.

This road trip for the Lakers is either going to be really good, or really bad.

Don't blame Barnes; he might not get the points, but he's the most solid player in the starting lineup. Good basketball IQ, unlike the much more talented but empty-headed Marbury, Richardson and Curry, plays good defense, and rarely makes mistakes.

Surprised at the choice of the late game for Friday night...I know it's the Pistons, the East champs, but I figured they'd go with NY/GS considering it would be Brown's first regular season appearance on national TV, as well as the All-Star PG matchup (Marbury/Davis).

Lakers played great today, especially Chris Mihm of all people, who came away with a double-double as they beat the Nuggets by 20.

To say they look a hell of a lot better than they did last year is an understatement. Thank god I have some hope in at least one sport.

This is what you will get with Larry Brown, as he did the same thing in Detroit. He never played the younger players, instead choosing to ride the starters way too long, which resulted in them losing out on their second championship.

I think this season he is going to get exposed as being inflexible in his ideals, and its going to seriously cost both him and the Knicks. And it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Helluva game between the Suns and Kings last night. High scoring, although a lot of it was a lack of defense. However, it was fun to see a lot of guys on both teams showcasing their skills, especially Boris Diaw and Leandro Barbosa. Barbosa just has to play under a little more control, but the role they have for him off the bench is right.

Also nice to see the Kings get out of a funk and win a tough game on the road. I think once Reef and Bonzi start getting more comfortable, the Kings will be just fine. They are still very productive players. Also nice to see Peja come join the land of the elite players for one night again as he was blistering in the third quarter.

T-Mac might miss three weeks. On the local news, they showed him leaving Toyota Center after getting treatment for his back yesterday and he was having a really hard time walking.

If any of you get the chance, catch either Sportscenter, ESPNews, or NBA TV for highlights of the Heat vs Nets. Vince Carter fucking dunked the fuck out of the ball all over Zo Mourning. Zo's team got the last laugh because they got the win, but Carter did some Dominique type shit on Zo tonight.

Posted

Yeah, that was pretty nasty. But as usual, in the end, Vince Carter is an unclutch loser.

Lawrence Frank was practically crying at the end of the game because of the lack of a foul call, but the refs are NEVER going to call that a foul in that situation.

I don't really like Carter (cuz he ditched our only team in Canada, the Raps), but him unleashing a series of facials over Zo, who I don't like even more, was one of the best things ever. I think D-Wade even said after the game that some of those dunks were the best all time. Anytime someone makes a moves so Zo doesn't flex his muscles afterwards, is a good move!

JO just almost pulled one off on Zo, too, but the ball popped out.

Someone will have to explain to me when exactly Mourning became so hated, btw. I've never had a problem with the guy.
