TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2005 The show's a couple of hours away and no one had started one of these, so I figured I'd go ahead and get the discussion going. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 Woah... Never expected them to actually do a Finisher Match in a company! When I actually played WWF Attitude, I liked doing that match.
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 Aside from Kip James, looks like its going to be a fun show.
JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 Yeah, I was thinking about starting this thread but decided against it. Card looks very good, Aries/Joe and Styles/Williams should be entertaining. I also hope we see some nice feud history videos hyping Genesis. Wonder if they'll have any commercials hyping the surprise talent.
World's Worst Man 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 Gee, I wonder if Joe vs. Aries will be as balls out and competitive as their 12/26/04 match? Hopefully it's a bit more than an extended squash, but I doubt it.

Magus 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 Hardy, Hoyt, and Sabin? Geez, just throw three random faces together, eh? Besides, we all know how it'll end anyway. Something about a guitar and a big brawl to end the show. I think I'll pass on this one

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 Monty never won a Super Bowl ring Jim. He won two AFC championship rings. His teams lost in the Super Bowl and Desmond Howard blew by his ass in the Packer-Pats game. Oops Jimmy.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 I still have to wonder... If Abyss by some chance won the NWA title, would he have to remove his mask? That WAS a rule with The Masked Rider...

Guest Leelee Report post Posted November 13, 2005 He was a fine special teams player for the Bills. And AJ or Petey should change their finisher to an Armbar, just for today.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 Jeff Hardy getting any offense on Monty and Abyss is laughable.

slimm44 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 Does anyone else notice it's been a year since Victory Road and we're pretty much back at the same place Jarrett has a new trio(stable): AMW,himself and Gail Kim AJ v Petey Monty Brown, Abyss and Jeff Hardy all wanting a shot at the belt there are a lot of similarities, and Im not bashing TNA, just saying they are rehashing a lot of feuds. Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 I have to say this... That top-rope Stroke seemed cool to me, despite who did it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jarrett's done that a few times, most notably to Styles and Legend, but it did look really good tonight. Guest Bulwark Report post Posted November 13, 2005 Son of a bitch... My power went out right after the Monty/Abyss/Hardy thing. "Ooooooooooooooooh, Abyss" is the lamest chant ever . They really need to get the hell out of Orlando.

Guest [censored] Report post Posted November 13, 2005 Terrible show that did nothing for me. The first Brown/Abyss/Hardy sucked I thought, even though I understand what they are trying to get accomplished though. I just don't think it did anything to hype the PPV and could turn off some browsing fans. I would have much rather had a Monty Brown squash followed by a quick interview where he basically talks about destroying Jeff Hardy and then coming after Jeff Jarrett. Role that right into a standard PPV promo putting over the match its a done deal. I don't like that they jobbed out Aries so bad there. He did really good in the 2 hour special and got the fans behind him. Definently deserved more than a semi squash especially when they could have thrown Sonjay or one of the other going no where's in and accomplished the same. I liked the Kip James bit. He wins a match reminding us that he does wrestle and then it goes into the problems with Konan bit. A good segment IMO regardless of how you feel about Kip James. I hated everything about the Petey Williams - AJ styles finisher match. I think it cheapens the PPV match and in execution the entire thing was horrible. This time could have spent doing something else, perhaps a random but good X division match like Alex Shelley vs. Matt Bentley with both Williams and Styles invited down to do commentary and argue a bit. Followed by a standard PPV promo hyping the match and putting over both wrestlers and awesome. So now the Zybsko - Raven bit is officially into WWE GM putting the screws to a wrestler territory by booking them to fail, only its the TNA DOA. What a bunch of unoriginal and lazy piece of booking this is. Not suprising I guess for a bunch of ex wcwers. If he's being put in a match against Christian its even worse as that's a match that can and should be hyped before hand. Main Event. This was ok. I'm not a fan of it but it was a good enough match and got the points it needed to covered. I can't decide which I hate more Hoyt's tramp stamp or his princess hair dye job. what a complete deuche bag he is. terrible show but pre PPV shows are always hard to do in the current environment and still I'm excited about Genesis. Every single angle imaginable has already been done a zillion times over. Get used to it. If Christian is Raven's opponent... Well, that's just silly. How is wrestling Christian "going through hell?" If I had to guess, I'd say it's Test...
