JustJoe2k5 Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 I can't wait for the Carolina/Chicago game tomorrow. I think people are overrating the affect of the weather, looking at Chicago's forcast it has pretty much been the same around here in Carolina the past week. Chicago is also supposed to have double-digit wind speeds all week long...except for Sunday.
Red Baron Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 Living near Buffalo, we can have 3-5 inches of snow, and then drive to Buffalo they will have 5-7 times the amount we have.
Guest StylesMark Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Well, I doubt McMahon can firmly lead that team anywhere. They are without a leader without McNabb, and seeing that many are NOW saying they need Owens back, says little to nothing about their character. When/if the Giants BURY Philly tomorrow, McNabb needs to have the surgery, come back next year and take control of his team again...if he ever can.
the pinjockey Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 and seeing that many are NOW saying they need Owens back, says little to nothing about their character. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I couldn't agree more. The last few days, after the new batch of comments, all I can think of is that they have such a losers' attitude right now it is unbelievable. A team like the Pats would just say, "Management made the decision, time to move on.". Instead dipshits like Trotter keep toeing the line and spewing shit like "well if TO were to come back and act the right way we would love to have him back." Guess what jackass, if TO was willing to act the right way this wouldn't be a problem. And all those comments do is harp on the negatives, stir up doubt and rile up the morons against McNabb (OMG TROTTERRRR SAID HE WANTZ TTTTT.....OOOOOO....TO.TO.TO BACK, MCNABB IZ TEH BABY).

Who do you want as your leader next year...McNabb, or TO??? You see, I live 40 minutes outside Philly. I was born in NJ, and thus have a NY/NJ bias. However, I've been to Eagles games. Their fans are just as ridiculous as their players. A fickle bunch, to say the least. They're actually WORSE than Red Sox fans, circa 2003. They need to rally behind their fallen QB, because TO won't be there next year. And if Trotter and the rest of the D would effectively do their jobs, McNabb would have them about 6-3 right now.
2GOLD Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 If they think T.O would get along with Mike McMahon, they are high.
the pinjockey Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 I think this is Trotter letting out some frustration with his dealings with the FO in the past. Remember, he had to come back to the team with his tail between his legs. I think that may be part of why he seems to be TO's main backer, I don't think it would crush him to see someone get over on the FO.
JustJoe2k5 Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 I know one thing, the media better not talk about how well-run the Eagles organization is anymore. This Terrell Owens' dibacle has completely ruined their reputation. I felt that way when they signed him in the first place, so it's good to see them get what they deserve.
fazzle Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 So, what games does everyone have this weekend? I've got Bears/Panthers and Raiders/Redskins at 1, Colts/Bengals at 4.
Just John Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 I've got Raiders/Redskins and Cowboys/Lions at noon, and the massively exciting Jets/Broncos game at 3. Looks Like I'll be headed out to a sports bar.
Slayer Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 With the Vikings playing on Monday night and the dearth of good games on TV today, I'll be occupying my time elsewhere.
therealworldschampion Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Oh good Lord, Jay Glazer reported that if the Eagles put McNabb on IR they might sign Kordell Stewart...
Bored Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Stuck with the 49ers and Raiders again without any game opposite of the either. God I hate the NFL's coverage. This is the third or fourth straight week they aren't putting a game opposite our piss poor local teams.
MrRant Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 So, what games does everyone have this weekend? I've got Bears/Panthers and Raiders/Redskins at 1, Colts/Bengals at 4. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Raiders vs. Redskins at 10. Bills vs. Chargers and Seattle at San Francisco at 1. Talk about suck.
Black Lushus Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 raiders/redskins bears/panthers, but fox keeps fucking up their reception jets/broncos for the late game...ugh...well at least i get to hear the "INCOMPLETE" chant...i like that!
Guest *KNK* Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 I get the suck duo of NYG/Philly and Pit/Balt but it smooths out with the uber big Cincy/Indy game.
razazteca Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Cowboys vs Lions - Julius Jones is back and had 50+ yards in the 1 Quarter and the WR Roy Williams bitch smacks all DBs that cover him. Redskins vs Raiders - 'skins have good defense...
fazzle Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Jesus. Delhomme throws his second pick of the game, both to Vasher. Both RIGHT to Vasher. Bears about to go up 14-0 on the Panthers. Edit: Err, make that 10-0.
Cartman Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Well the Bears have thebest defense in the NFL, no shocker there. Pats are rolling the Aints so far. Nice confidence builder for the home stretch.
mike546 Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Giants unability to score TDs in the redzone is getting really bad. Eli needs to stop his lovest fest with Burress, which means throwing to Shockey or Toomer, who are in single coverage, unlike Burress.
Precious Roy Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 How do the Patriots STILL pull off the Vrabel trick play?
mike546 Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 I'm not sure if Eli's rattled, or if its just nobody getting open. Either way, this offense has taken a total 180.
razazteca Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Damn the Cowboys had the ball on the goaline and had to go for the FG because Julius Jones could not get one yard for the TD.
Guest *KNK* Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Both these games are boring me to death.
AlaskanHero Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 I've got TB/Atlanta. I'm hoping I'll get Bengals/Colts later today.
KingPK Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 I think NE and NO are the only ones getting Pats/Saints. This announce team has forced me to do the ol' "Mute the TV and turn on the radio guys" routine. EDIT: Cool, the Saints are imploding. Will Smith called for three penalties on one play.
mike546 Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 This reminds me of the in 01, where coming into the game, the Giants had defeated the Eagles 9 game in a row. On MNF, the Giants totally dominant the game, but don't take advantage of oppertunities and only lead 9-0. Eagles kick a FG early in the 4th, and then McNabb leads the Eagles down the field on the last drive of the game to steal a win. The Giants have only beaten the Eagles once since. This game is exactly the same so far.
fazzle Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 The Panthers get into the red zone for the first time this game....and then Delhomme gets sacked for a loss of nine on the next play. FG, 13-3 Bears. Carolina blows their first chance this game. Yeah, it's over. They have no shot of coming back.
The Czech Republic Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Man, these Bears are the Padres of football.
