Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 This is one of those hilariously awful films, as opposed to just awful. It is just so unintentionally stupid, that you can't help but enjoy yourself. Don't watch it more than once though.
Ed Wood Caulfield 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 I've seen it about 5 or 6 times. Everytime it's on T.V., I just have to watch it. But that's because I love watching bad movies. One question though: why the hell was Jean Claude Van Dam cast as Guile and Raul Julia cast as Bison?
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 I always wondered more why Guile was the main character, when Ryu and Ken were always the most popular, and IIRC the main characters in the video games
5_moves_of_doom 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 My favorite line goes something like (and this is just from memory...) M. BISON: "What's wrong Guile?? You came here expecting to face a MADMAN, and instead you found a GOD!?!?!?" And then he shoots lightning bolts out of his hands at him.

Special K 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 Raul Julia owned this movie in every possible way. It's sort of sad it was his last movie ever. Nearly as bad as Orson Welles' last screen credit bein the voice of Unikron.

Nearly as bad as Orson Welles' last screen credit bein the voice of Unikron. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wasn't Raul's last movie that HBO original film that was released after his death? Down came a blackbird or something like that? Street Fighter was his last feature film though. His best film was clearly his performance in "The Rookie". Ripper 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 Guile: I'm gonna kick that son of a bitch Bison's ass SO HARD!....that the next Bison wannabe is gonna feel it! You quoted it wrong. He said: I'm gonna kick that susa-a-bich Bison's ass SO HARD!!! Van Damme couldn't get son of a bitch out to save his life.
Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 Wasn't Cammy played by Kylie Minogue? Because if so... I remember seeing that in the theater when I was a kid. When the movie was over, the audience was split between laughing at how bad it was or just pissed off at the movie. It's always been the former for me. Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 my biggest gripe was the way they portrayed Ryu and Ken as basically a couple of bumbling inept slapshticky crooks..
Special K 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 There was a movie released after the Transformers movie with Welles, but T:tM was the last one he worked for, and is, according to IMDb his official final film. And I like that movie, but it's Orson Welles.

Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 Unicron: I have summoned you here for a purpose. Megatron: Nobody summons Megatron. Unicron: Then it pleases me to be the first. Welles also did voice work for a couple Manowar albums in his final years.

Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 Guile was more popular than Ryu and Ken in the arcades I frequented. So he had at least a cult following.
Epic Reine 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 Street Fighter is definatley one of my guilty pleasure films. It's so bad but I love every minute of it. "QUICK, CHANGE THE CHANNEL!" By far, the best line in the whole movie. The expression Zangief makes while everyone else looks at him like a dumbass is priceless.
