I work with a pedophile

So I was searching through the Sex Offender registry at familywatchdog.us and I came across the guy that I work midnites with at my place of employment. He was convicted of child molestation. Now all I can think about is bloodying this guy and leaving him laying. What a son of a bitch. I went to my manager with the info and website and she was not aware of it. She said she'd "look into it". How else could I handle this? I really want to fuck this guy up, but I know I'd get fired if I did.

As disgusting as his actions were, it's not your place to go lay him out just because you happen to work with him. Unless you wanna get on the wrong side of the law, I'd let it go.

I think you've done all you can really do by notifying your supervisor. Leave it in her hands to decide what to do about him (if anything happens at all).

My uncle's on the sex offender list. I'm the only person in the family who says he wasn't wrongfully accused.

Is His Name Michael W. Bush? (It's public info anyway)

unless you work somewhere that has children often present during the graveyard shift then let it be. The guy's already been tried by the courts and shit. Let him earn a living and move on with his life.

I personally would do nothing about it ... unless you're like 9 and worried that he might touch you in your bathing suit place.

Wow, a pedophile lives less than a mile away from the church camp I work at sometimes.

 

I wonder if they know that.

Why are you freaking out? Yeah it's a disgusting thing he did but he's already been punished by the law and if he's reformed then it's not your place to punish him. How long ago did this crime occur?

Shouldn't your boss have known about this already? If that guy lied on an application about being conviced of something other than a misdomeaner then you did the right thing in being a snitch...

 

For once we agree...Not only did he lie to my and his employer about being convicted of a felony, but he also has not told the government that he is working for our company. His place of employment is still listed as a gift shop. The point is more that he lied to the employer than that I'm worried about him touching me inappropriately or something. Although, he does work alone with someone else, a woman, 3 nights a week. Of course, he might be a homosexual pedophile.

You know, something should be said regarding sex offenders. I work in a treatment center and read people's files when I get bored. Many times what the person does is really not that bad (like say, a 21 year old with a 17 year old girlfriend), but they still get haunted by the label forever. That happens more than you'd think.

And it doesn't help that the media loves to get everyone worked up about them, regardless of the offense. You'd think they were bloodthirsty cavemen who roamed the streets of your town, fucking everything in sight.

Do you check to see if all of your new co-workers are sex offenders?

That just seems weird to be randomly searching and be like "Hey I know that guy!"

 

In the area I live there are about 20 registered sex offenders. If you bothered to go to this website, you would see that you cannot search by name, only by location. There are dots on a map where sex offenders live. You click the dot the picture pops up. This is how I found his picture.
