Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Matthew Hardy wants to be FIRED Matt Hardy isn't happy because Edge is champ and he realized he was foolish for going back to the WWE. And what he's doing is showing up late for work, breaking dress code and essentially being angry backstage non-stop. Trying to get released. Credit to PWInsider Elite
haws bah gawd Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 When Edge won the title the other night at the pay per view, I told my friend, right now, there is someone, somewhere that is trying to pull a gun out of Matt Hardy's mouth. Do I think Matt got kinda screwed over during the feud with Edge? of course Do I think Matt deserves more than he gets now? Definitely, he is over as fuck on Smackdown, despite constantly jobbing Does Matt deserve a world title? US title for sure, but not so much the world title. Oh well, in sure TNA would love to have the Hardy Boyz back together, working for them.
Hoff Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 All part of the work, my friends. Matt's all "depressed" now.
Si82 Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 I can see thinks from Matt's point of view. He is indeed being shafted in WWE right now. He deserves a bigger push on Smackdown but instead finds himself jobbing to JBL. However, if I were him I wouldn't have gone back to WWE in the first place. You only need look back at it's history to see that he was going to screwed over when he came back. He made a stupid mistake in going back.
Matt Young Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 I was going to post this after seeing it at DVDVR. As Matt Young Version 1, I was ecstatic when Matt was rehired. I'd like tosee him get a decent push on Smackdown, but I am beginning to think that TNA might be the better place for him...
what Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Story sounds like bullshit. I don't trust news from anywhere but WO, everywhere else it always sounds like horseshit.
TheInsane Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Why doesnt he quit then? Doesnt both quitting and being released have the same consequenses (2 month no compete clause)?
Guest Fook Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 If he tries to quit, he'd be in breach of his contract and wouldn't get any of his salary, even that which he's already earned but hasn't been paid. If he's fired, he doesn't lose out on what he's already earned.
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 I cry bullshit. If he wanted to quit, he'd whine on his website for three months first.
Guest droptoehold Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 I feel no sympathy for this guy. cmon i wouldnt ever try to get a job back at a place that did me as dirty as his employer did. you think its gonna be all diffrent...yeah pal heres to hoping this is trueand lands in TNA by Aug
Lord of The Curry Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Fuck him for ever thinking that WWE would be smart enough to use him properly. He should've known better.
razazteca Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 All part of the work, my friends. Matt's all "depressed" now. Matt needs to start emulating Jeff Hardy
Dobbs 3K Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Just think, if Matt gets fired again and goes to TNA, it would be the Dudleys vs the Hardy Boys again, and Christian could just find a new partner if they want to do a three way tag feud. Weird. In the old days, the tag team guys that were over would be built into singles stars (Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels). Now I guess they get fired or quit and go to work for the competition.
Hawk 34 Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Matt's greed got him in this place. He made his bed. He knew what would happen. They weren't pushing before and they sure as hell weren't going to push him after all the shit he did.
justcoz Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Story sounds like bullshit. I don't trust news from anywhere but WO, everywhere else it always sounds like horseshit. The PWInsider elite section have been right about a number of things as of late. They were discussing the Boogieman biting off Jillian Hall's mole weeks ago. My level of faith in whatever they report is pretty high. There is no reason to doubt this story.
Aero Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 If he really wants to get fired, he should do one of the following things... (1) Go to WWE HQ in Stamford and wear the tights of a Hall of Fame superstar that may be on display somewhere while eating strawberries. (2) Run in streaking during a match.. a tan bodysuit might also work. (3) Grab the WWE Title, tie it to a rope attached to a car, and drive around the parking lot while talking smack through a mega phone. One of those HAS to work.
RedJed Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Fuck him for ever thinking that WWE would be smart enough to use him properly. He should've known better. Thats about what it comes down to. Sure, it was definately probably better pay and, of course, exposure, but the guy got fucked over in the first place - he should have been much more careful (had verbage in his contract about even being used fairly if thats what it would take) before he decided to go back. Instead he gave the company the benefit of the doubt, more in particularly Johnny Ace, which was a huge mistake. The Edge feud didnt do anything but possibly build to an interpromotional match with Edge at a later date (or perhaps that was what he was told would happen when he put over Edge at the Homecoming Raw), but of course that will never be happening at this point. Otherwise there was no real advantage for Hardy to even work a program with Edge since it just benefited Edge first and foremost. Once Hardy got moved back to Smackdown, they were going back and forth with doign something with him, and then came the Taker thing, and so much for that idea. Regardless of the Taker thing happening or not, I have my doubts if they would have done shit with him anyway because he was always going to have a glass ceiling hanging above him because of the politics. And this isnt even me talking as a Hardy fan (because I'm not) but its clear as day that the situation is/was obvious - they just brought him back to spite TNA since they were going to do something significant with him. Same thing with Foley. Now Hardy, even if he leaves, has a ton less market value to TNA, but I bet they would still consider bringing him in- not sure if that would be including bringing back Jeff or not, but I would imagine they would. I can't really see them putting Hardy into the world title picture if he was ever to go to TNA now, but starting him in the X division and then moving to tags with Jeff would work. I wouldnt expect Hardy to stick around much past the month, probably after a quick burial in the Rumble match.
2GOLD Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Show up on RAW and hit Edge in the face with a steel chair for real. Then he can be fired AND arrested! It's the best for everyone involved. Hell, it might even give Mr. R rated as a episode of Dora the Explorer a chance to turn face later.
CBright7831 Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 They'll probably keep him around just to spite him.
Enigma Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 If Matt quits, then he can't go to TNA until his contract would have expired, which would probably be July 2008 if he signed the standard 3-year deal. If he's fired, then he only has to wait 90 days. I remember Edge was upset with WWE in the middle of 2005 and wanted to quit to go to TNA, but wouldn't have been able to go for a while because of his current deal.
Placebo Effect Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Maybe this will turn out like the Seinfeld episode and Matt will drag the WWWF Heavyweight Title around the parking lot, run out into the ring wearing a clear bodysuit, and drive around at the front office insulting the McMahons into a megaphone.
Gary Floyd Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 You just know that once he is fired, he'll probably whine about it on his website for months. Matt, I'm sorry you got screwed over by Edge, but your current situation is your own fault. You made your bed already, so I have no sympathy for you.
Guest Quik Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Maybe he can get Randy Orton to fuck his current girlfriend. That should get him fired pretty quick.
Guest Rrrsh Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Maybe he can get Randy Orton to fuck his current girlfriend. That should get him fired pretty quick. I dont get it.
Guest Rrrsh Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Sorry Placebo Effect, Aero beat ya too it. If he really wants to get fired, he should do one of the following things... Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 Maybe he can get Randy Orton to fuck his current girlfriend. That should get him fired pretty quick. I dont get it. I think He's suggesting that Orton is gay. Or Blind. Or has extremely low standards.
Guest clockworkraven Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 I cry bullshit. If he wanted to quit, he'd whine on his website for three months first. His website's been down, pretty much ever since he got rehired.
Scroby Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Matthew Hardy wants to be FIRED Matt Hardy isn't happy because Edge is champ and he realized he was foolish for going back to the WWE. "Matt Hardy is throwing a tempter tandrum". You know if this is true, Fuck Matt Hardy. I seriously have no respect for the guy. What a fucking cry baby.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 At this point, if Vince knows he wants to be fired, I dont think he would fire him. "Matt Hardy ran through the crowd naked tonight on RAW live for no apparent reason? Move him back to RAW and give him a streaker gimmick! Brilliant!" "Matt Hardy isn't showing up on time? Buy the man a watch!" "Matt Hardy isn't meeting the dress code? Add a subpoint to the rule and include the following "The Dresscode doesn't apply to anyone with the first name of Matt and last name of Hardy". "Matt Hardy is being really angry backstage? Buy him a cute little puppy! Who could be mad when they have a cute little puppy?"
Guest Nathan Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Pay his ass to sit at home. Goddamn... If your pussy hurts, buy some vagisil. Crybaby.
