Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2006 I wish Colette would have said "Nina Myers." Robocop's "pandora's box" of knowledge? Zombie Nina, operated by the U.S. government.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2006 I dont know for 100% sure but I'll spoiler tag it anyway.. Kim Raver (Audrey) is going to be in a show that was picked up by ABC about a hostage standoff at a bank. Chances are she won't be back for next season because of it, so Im guessing she's killed off at some point as well.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2006 How the hell is that a sustainable concept for a show? Unless they did it in real time too... (referring to the spoiler posted by Marv)
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2006 How the hell is that a sustainable concept for a show? Unless they did it in real time too... (referring to the spoiler posted by Marv) Its supposedly going to be like lost and the hostage situation will last 52 hours..I dont know how they do a 2nd season..but I guess they need to get through one first.. Guest Fook Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Jack's okay, right? RIGHT? Great episode this week with an amazing cliffhanger. Jack's interrogation of Audrey was particularly powerful stuff. I actually laughed at the new girl's (Sherry?) sexual harassment issues with Buchanan ("Did you see the way he touched my shoulder?") Poor Wayne Palmer. They always kill off the characters I like. And he never got to give Aaron his message. No President or Crazy First Lady this week. Pretty refreshing actually.
the max 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Just when I think I'm out, they drag me back in. Awesome show tonight. Everything in the gas plant was well done.
bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 I loved Jack's running Die Hard esque escape from the explosion, with the '24' theme booming. It was like reminding us why this guy is the greatest action hero since John McClaine.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Wayne with crazy sniper rifle = cool Aaron with crazy sniper rifle = cooler I dug both the gas plant plan and the plan to blow it up. But goddamn, once I just want CTU to absolutely fail and for hundreds of thousands of people to die. I thought it was going to happen tonight, so obviously they're doing something right. Stephen Joseph 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Uhhh Wayne Palmer isn't dead. He was in the preview for next week
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Yeah, I didn't think he was dead. Just kinda half-blowed up. Aaron's secret service skillz are unstoppable.
Guest Fook Report post Posted March 28, 2006 I don't watch the previews, plus he looked dead to me when Pierce put him in the car and he was all burned and scarred and not moving at all.
Mik 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Awesome episode. Audrey sure did forgive Jack pretty quickly, though, didn't she?
chirs3 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 I really hope Audrey turns out to be dirty after all. Especially since CTU's cleared her. So, are the last 8 hours just going to be a big Christopher Henderson manhunt, or what?
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Well and whatever the Information that Wayne Palmer knows. Im sure thats pretty important too.
The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 I'm glad to see Wayne back in the fold. As somebody who's watched this since season 1, I was a little pissed that the Palmer assassination storyline was so arbitrarily abandoned. Maybe now that's going to end up being the big story down the stretch, tying everything together.

RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Chloe was awesome in this episode. We need some Chloe Love, or Chlove, in this thread. Alright, so HENDERSON is the supreme bad guy numero uno? Cause we've had like a dozen top baddies this season and I just want to make sure I know what's what. Is he the dude that planned the whole thing with Jack and Palmer and whatnot? Is this gas thing a cover-up for something even bigger?
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Oh, and wasn't Pierce shot in the motorcade a few hours ago?
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Pierce only suffered injuries from the explosion from the rocket, I don't think he was shot. I love the sublte manipulation of when they had you think the HS Tech guy was a douche for messing with the new IT girl (Edgar's replacement) and finding out about the past sexual harassment complaint. Then after Buchanan brushes with her, she freaks out and you suddenly think the HS guy may not be the bad guy here. I understand Audrey forgiving Jack so quickly because she knew he'd eventually figure out how to get her out of trouble. She figured that out once Jack socked the security guys who were going to take her to the chemical interrogation. The guy who forgave Jack pretty quickly without an apology was Curtis. Jack did choke his ass out unconscious and while Curtis did understand why afterwards, I still haven't heard an apology from Jack. And yes, that was a mountain out of a mole hill in regards to Jack/Curtis.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 I think they exchanged some manly vibes when simultaneously shooting those baddies with their silenced pistols. At that moment, they synced up, and Jack sort of winked, "I'm sorry about choking you," and Curtis was like, "it's okay broseph, look at what we can do with our guns--TOGETHER." Alright, so HENDERSON is the supreme bad guy numero uno? Cause we've had like a dozen top baddies this season and I just want to make sure I know what's what. Is he the dude that planned the whole thing with Jack and Palmer and whatnot? Is this gas thing a cover-up for something even bigger? Actually, I've thought this season has been pretty good about sticking to its guns. Bierko and Henderson have really been the only ones (it never really seemed like Nathanson or Walt Cummings were the top dogs, so I don't count) in that position, and I think it's been arranged nicely, as they've really been working on parallel but non-intersecting paths. I have a feeling that we'll find out what Wayne knows in the next episode or two, and that what Henderson's really doing will come to light as well.
starvenger 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Chloe was awesome in this episode. We need some Chloe Love, or Chlove, in this thread. I'm gonna ignore that attempt to add a new word to the English dictionary, but yeah, Chloe was awesome in her Chloe-like way. Pierce only suffered injuries from the explosion from the rocket, I don't think he was shot. You could make a Monty Python sketch out of characters no-selling injuries on this show... He's still a weaselly little puke any way you slice it. Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Oh, no doubt he's going to be annoying and in the way. I just like how they were implying he was a total fuckhole and turns out he might just be a plain fuckhole.

I just like how they were implying he was a total fuckhole and turns out he might just be a plain fuckhole. Ah, missed that you were going for that. Anyways, someone should tell him what happened to the last fuckhole who tried to strongarm CTU personnel. Or show him. I'm sure Rudy's body is still there somewhere... Mik 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 I hope the sexual harrassment storyline doesn't become bigger than it is. That would be supremely annoying. I like how they set it up with Chloe saving the "innocent" girl and then you find out that she's crazy. I think that whenever a higher up has a problem with Jack; Jack should say..."Have you ever heard of Ryan Chapelle?" And when they reply no - Jack can say..."Well, maybe you should ask around about what happened to him." No more questioning of Jack Bauer.
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2006 Sort of veering off a little, Bill Buchanan is a very underrated character. I think the guy playing him (name escapes me right now) does so just perfectly. He's sort of a stiff and he kind of has to be considering the position he's in, yet he still shows flexibility and range when making very demanding decisions. Just a good acting job IMO. That's all well and good, but doesn't he have to die at some point? It seems to be a cliche of 24 that the person in charge of CTU needs to die. Hell, they've already offed three of those this season, might as well make it unlucky four...
