CanadianGuitarist Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 See topic. I'm waiting for St. Gabriel to pimp Djibouti. Uzbekistan and Uruguay were the favourites at work...I always thought Chad didn't get much of what it was due.
Lord of The Curry Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Niger. Only because of the confusion it caused as a child.
Dobbs 3K Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 It doesn't exist anymore, but I'd have to go with Rhodesia.

Special K Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 We had a kid from Monaco in our fraternity.
Red Baron Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 I have a few people in my program from obscured countries. I mean not the usual students from Japan, Korea and Germany, but I mean real weird places. Bermuda, Bahamas, Tunisia and Fiji. FIJI!
Der Kommissar Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 I have always preferred Papua New Guinea and San Marino myself.
Art Sandusky Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Mozambique, which could possibly be the worst place in the world to live and home of the coolest flag ever.
Guest Vitamin X Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 How about the micronation of Sealand? Yes, that's the entire country right there.
Carnival Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 I'm half bohemian, gotta love them czechs.
Big Ol' Smitty Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Uruguay Haha...look at this country. You are gay! Also, Suriname.
The Czech Republic Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Suriname is forgotten between the two Gu(i/y)anas. Good call.
BruiserKC Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 How come you're all holding Burkina Faso and Nauru down? They deserve some love, damn it.
Big Ol' Smitty Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Suriname is forgotten between the two Gu(i/y)anas. Good call. Suriname was actually known as Dutch Guyana for a minute.
CanadianGuitarist Posted January 24, 2006 Author Report Posted January 24, 2006 Proving the topic point, there's been some fucking good ones mentioned... Baron, fuck you over the Liechtenstein comment I don't know if I'd call Czech Republic obscure...at least not with how often a guy with the same name posts here... We could get a whole thread over Africa...Surinam was a pretty good one, I'm not sure if I'd call Ethiopia that oft-mentioned.

Slayer Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Chad changed its name to "Doctor Death" because the chicks seem to dig it
The Czech Republic Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 We could get a whole thread over Africa...Surinam was a pretty good one If only your geography was that good!
Rob Anybody Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 Chad and Niger, definitely. And Liechtenstein, just because of its size.
CanadianGuitarist Posted January 25, 2006 Author Report Posted January 25, 2006 I'm fully aware of where Surinam is, and I realise it's not Africa. Guyana to the west, French Guiana to the east, Brazil to the south. The ... in the last post implied there was a rest and a new thought started.
KGB Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 Niger. Only because of the confusion it caused as a child. Yeah. There's Niger and Nigeria. Natives of Nigeria are called Nigerians, right? So what they call people who live in Niger? Seriously.
CanadianGuitarist Posted January 25, 2006 Author Report Posted January 25, 2006 Cyprus is a good one. Senegal's not as good as it once was with it's mild success in the 2002 World Cup..I might be the only one who remembers, though, mostly because I picked em to beat France in Game 1 on Pro-Line. Newfreeland? That's, um, new to me...where is it?
