What do you guys think is the worst style that people wear these days?

Like what do you see people wearing and go "what the fuck? that's horrible" or a hairstyle that makes you cringe.

For me on the clothes and hair would be the kids that try to look as 70's as possible. In the end they don't look like they belong in the 70's. They look like they belong at some retro club. The clothes just scream "overpriced retro knockoffs" and the hair is usually pretty bad too.

I also hate the dumb dickhead look which I've gone over before. And flip flops with baggy jeans. Does anyone here do that frequently?

Ok well I'll let you guys expound on it b/c I know there's gotta be some clothing style or hairstyle that people are sporting these days that you hate.

*PS* We've all gone over pink before so maybe that's better left unsaid.*

Last Thanksgiving while walking around the mall with my g/f's brother, we saw a guy with a pink shirt and popped collar. "Gay" doesn't even begin to describe it, though we had a good laugh about it. Hell, we kept a running count of how many guys in the mall we saw in pink shirts (seven).

One of my pet peeves is similar to Dama's, namely the half-assed long hair... I guess it's been going on for awhile now (since the 70's) but I've really noticed it the last couple of years. If you're gonna grow your hair out, go all the way, dammit.

You mean like Brodie Croyle from Alabama has? That hair that is like short in the front and feathers back to long?

I guess maybe my hair is half-assed long but right now that's because I'm trying to grow it longer. And it's textured so it doesn't look really like all the same length.

I'm just frightend at the fact that the 80's are coming back with a vengence with fashion. It's heart breaking to see tutu's with tights underneath, slip on shoes and a fuck load of hairspray on women. Cindy Lauper wants her clothes back girls!!

I don't understand the snowboots look either. It's not snowing so why the fuck are you wearing them? Jimmy Jacobs wants his ring attire back.

Since when is pink a man's color?

Dudes wearing hunting-camo jackets over pink polo shirts and backwards truckers hats. I wish I could find a pic of one them on the internet, since there's about a billion of those guys where I live.

Agreed. One of the worst looks I've seen recently, and keep in mind I live in hot sunny Miami, Florida where even in the dead of winter it's still in the mid 70's and 80's, I've seen girls wearing these things. With a skirt, so we see a little bit of leg, and then a shirt with rhinestones. She must have thought she looked glamourous and trendy, everyone else thought she looked ridiculous.

The worst thing is seeing a guy wearing an extra small pink polo shirt, tight faded jeans, short hair that is done in a mohawk, and the guy is for some inexplicable reason wearing a sweatband on his arm.

When did sweatbands become cool anyway? If you play in a band I can see the need for one, if you play basketball there's a need for one, if you're walking through the mall in one you're a fucking douchebag.

Also, a lot of people who shop at Hot Topic generally look like shit.

I'm very acccepting of people. The only things that for sure bothers me is middle-aged white men who have decided that a great look is to wear a golf shirt tucked into short shorts (usually khaki), together with sandals (or worse, leather loafers) with no socks. I saw about a thousand of these types of guys every week this past summer, and it never ceased to sicken me.

Metrosexuality has driven men who are far beyond pulling off certain looks to attempt them regardless. I was out for dinner last week and one of the waiters in the place was easily in his late 30's and was rocking a fake n' bake tan, frosted blonde tips in his hair and to top it all off, a male-pattern baldness faux-hawk.

.01% of men call pull off pink and while I'm not one of them I can appreciate it given the right moment.

There is nothing wrong with baggy jeans and flip flops.

Agreed. I don't think it's a bad look at all.

Some guys can totally pull off pink. I'd say higher than the 0.1% LOTC claims, but no more than say 5%.

The look that irks me the most is the emo dudes wearning tight, girly pants. Come on dude....

Black dudes can pull off pink easier then any other race, simply because society's fear of the black man makes it incapable for us to mock their choice or suggest anything else. Any time Jay-Z, Kanye, Diddy or Jamie Foxx rocks a fruity look it gets praised by most people. David Arquette turns up in a pink button-down and gets mocked. The world ain't right.

Did I start this post up because of a subconcious urge to defend David Arquette? Maybe.

People wearing ball caps that are put on sideways, or have the no curve in the hat.

Variation of a sport cap. (Army version of a Yankees hat, WTF?)

The 6x sport jersey that they know the one player on the team. (ie Vick, Owens, Johnson, Brady).

What I also hate are people who wear their cellphones outside their pants and have their shirt tucked over it so the ycan show it off. It's been around for years but it's getting ridiculous these days especially with the new sidekicks out.

And yes, guys in tight clothes look ridiculous.

Pink's not for everyone, that much is true. That said, I luckily can pull it off OK.

Is there anything you can't pull off?

And sorry I still don't like the baggy jeans and flip flops look. I think guys in flip flops are bad enough. Ok feet are and ugly part of the body but they're 10x grosser for guys and so you'll excuse me if I don't want to see anyone showing off their hairy big feet!

I personally don't put curves in my hats because it doesn't help keep the sun out of my eyes. I've seen some hats that are so curved that they lose the sun blocking ability, and to me that's still part pf a ball cap's job. I do wear normal sports hats, though. No one should wear pink or camo Red Sox hats.

Totally. I mean, like, red and pink SO don't go together! Can we say fashion faux pas?
