haVoc 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2006 Earl then turns around and gives the award to Shawn who is smiling and Bret is in shocked. Bret then pulls out a gun and shoots Earl, Vince and Shawn in the head.) Then Tim White wrestles the gun from Bret in a **** classic and turns it on himself. USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 Many of us have waited almost 9 years for this. It truly is going to be a surreal moment. We've been waiting since 1997 for this?
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 For Bret Hart to appear on WWF television again, sure
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 If his current story is true, Bret has no intentions of doing anything besides the induction ceremony. So the only "return" to TV will be via the HoF ceremony if aired.

Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 They'll probably use the Bret induction as reason enough to market the HOF as a PPV for the Fantatics Series.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 Can I pretend I never read anything Promoter said? Why are people excited about this? When Warrior gets inducted into the HOF, thats news. Bret and Vince have been breaking down the walls that seperated their respective egos from sensible business practices for the last year and a half. This was only inevitable. Good for Bret that he'll get his chance to say thank you to his fans and congrats for Vince for finding something worthwhile for his little weekend in Chicago. As for the induction? Austin (one of his close friends and last great moment in WWE came with him) and Benoit (family friend who has obvious connection with Bret) are really the only WWEized options. Guest Timmer Report post Posted February 15, 2006 it outta be neidhart. anything otherwise is pure folly. they should honestly nominate the entire hart foundation - not the tag team, they entire crew. pillman, bulldog, neidhart, owen, & bret. they all deserve it. has stu gone in yet? I seem to hear this from time to time and I gotta ask...WHY? If you are saying this based on the individuals....Pillam,neidhart, and bulldog should never get in and Owen is borderline. If you are saying it based on the group/stable, then you have to put the following in first... 4 Horsemen Degeneration X Original NWO The above three groups made a much larger impact on wrestling than the boys from Canada... ISportsFan 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 "If you are saying this based on the individuals....Pillam,neidhart, and bulldog should never get in and Owen is borderline." This is the same Hall of Fame that has James Dudley, Johnny Rodz, George Steele, Tito Santana, Greg Valentine, and Pete Rose. There is no reason why the aforementioned names do not qualify for a Hall of Fame with these individuals already admitted.

ISportsFan 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 Neither of those 2 are bad wrestlers, but neither of those 2 are monumentally better than Davey Boy Smith, who was part of a revolutionary tag team and was probably the biggest British star in WWE history (who was at least a partial cause for a Wembley Stadium sellout), or Owen Hart, who was simply a fantastic worker that had a great run as a main event heel for almost all of 1994 (something neither of those 2 ever did). I was not indicating those two were bad workers or even terrible choices (although they would not be in my Hall of Fame), but that they are already in the same Hall of Fame that Timmer wants to suddenly make an exclusive club just to exclude people like Bulldog and Owen. Promoter 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 Well, that's all anyone's really asking from him. He's in no condition to wrestle a match I can see the Chicago crowd chanting "WE WANT BRET" in the HBK/Vince match. I just think fans will expect something from Bret. We saw what happened with Hogan last year at the ceremony. I also think people are assuming that all fans actually buy Bret not being able to wrestle at all. I'm not saying he can, but this is wrestling and fans know they fake things like that. Of course, someone will try to argue this with me because they are thinking way too much like a smark. Hawk34 why do you want to pretend you never read anything I wrote? The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith will get into the HOF. That's not even a debate imo simply from his tag team days alone. Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2006 I'm glad Bret's going into the HOF, but to say the WWE HOF is prestigious is quite laughable. Thank you. I've been saying this since 4 posts ago. Ye my feelings too, especially considering there is no WWE HOF building this is kind of dumb (plus they indcuted Harley Race in 04 depsite him only wrestling in the company for like 2 years, rememmeber they clal it WWE HOF not "Pro Wrestling" HOF)

Its not even so much a "they fake it thing" After Shawn Michaels came back from an injury that was basically crippling, the "well, maybe" door was opened in the minds of some fans regarding a whole bunch of different wrestlers.
