Stacy is now a mainstream star because of Dancing with the Stars, she could easily parlay that into an actual career in movies and television.

Jessica Simpson's singing career was dead until she was on a hit reality show. Then she started getting TV and movie parts. It can happen. The people who fade into obscurity after the reality show is over are usually just regular people who happen to be on a reality show. I don't think Stacey will do as well as Simpson has, mind you, but the increased fame from being on a top-rated show plus already being in show-business puts her in a position to go on to bigger and better things.
