Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2006 I think a lot of people think WWE pays it's undercard a lot more than they what they really do. You can thank WCW for creating the impression that everyone gets paid six figures. Mick Foley, a regular in the main event scene for WWE during it's peak didn't make six figures until the very end of his career.
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2006 But Rey can still by his clothes at a children's store, or wear his son's hand me downs so he saves quite a bit there. That, and Rey gets a lot more per house show appearance than Stacy does.
iliketurtles 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2006 Wow, she just totally let the truth on WWE. And I love it.
iliketurtles 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2006 How's it possible that she's losing money? I know she's not making "Triple H money", but I'm assuming she makes six figures...that should easily cover travel expenses... When you are on the road 250+ days a year, have to fly to "exotic" locations for dvd/magazine shoots, pay for your accomodations, car rentals, along with regular stuff that we all have to pay for (mortage/rent, bills etc), she has no health insurance. That shit adds up and 6 figures? Mysterio, doesn't even make 6 figures. Don't forget half of their salary probably goes back to taxes.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2006 Well, let's be a little fair to WWE here. I doubt Stacy is a thrifty shopper, so there are the clothes expense that are more than what could be. There's the female beauty crap. And I doubt she's staying in Motel 6. I bet you chicks are paying ALOT more than guys on the road because of the misc. female stuff and the higher standards. BruiserKC 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2006 Is it me or does it seem that the wrestling fans are like the country music fans as far as distancing themselves from the people they consider sell-outs? Faith Hill has a couple of mainstream tunes and she has to suck up to her base fans with "Mississippi Girl" so they don't think she's sold out. It sounds like the wrestling fans have turned their back on Keibler for "selling out". If she can get a bigger, better gig than the WWE, more power to her. Isn't that all what we want...a chance to make more money and better opportunity?

nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2006 I keep seeing her birthday as October 14, 1979. I don't think Stacy's all that pretty, she can't act at all, and unless she only does film work as a stripper or dancer and can showcase her overrated legs, she's pretty useless. I think she's better off signing WWE checks for as long as she possibly can because her 15 minutes outside of the WWE will be over before the summer gets here. I said it before, potentially in this very thread: if Pam Anderson can be famous for 15 years & get multiple TV shows based on nothing but her looks & body, Stacy Kiebler should be able to swing at least half of that. She's got a prettier face, more 'girl next door wholesome-ness' and has fewer public scandals in the past.

She won't pose nude, so that route is out. She's NOT a good actress, and by June or July when the next new fad of celebreality (credit: VH1) hits no one outside of wrestling fans will care what she's doing. Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2006 I'll let you in on a little secret in Hollywood... Quite a bit of the women can't act their way out of a paper bag. If she gets any acting gigs, it'll be based on her look, not her ability to deliver a line. I know some people starving in LA trying to make it and all of them have lost out on a part to a person who they were clearly more talented than, but that person had the look casting directors or producers were looking for. As for modeling, you're crazy if you don't think Stacy would make more money doing that than wrestling. There is a ton of work for her in print ads, magazine work, commercials. etc. Yeah, she might not be on TV every week like she was in WWE, but she'll be making more money doing less deplorable work. Guest JustPassinBy Report post Posted February 24, 2006 One thing that works against Miss Keibler is that with being so tall, she's limited in terms of the acting roles she can take. If she's playing opposite a leading man, most movie execs are going to demand that the man be taller than her. And isnt Stacy like 6'3? That really limits what other actors she can work with. I think she's talented enough to have her own show on say Animal Planet or Discovery Channel. She's hot enough to draw in the males, wholesome enough to draw in the kids, and doesnt really have a 'bitch' factor that would turn off females.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2006 It does not take a genius to be a reality tv host. The only skills required are to look good and read the teleprompter....skillz which she learned while working for WWE. Other options would be a cast member of an emsomble reality tv show on VH1! or E! playing the part of the stupid blond or the bitch that knows everything or the house drunk. I don't disagree with what you're saying, I just don't see her becoming a huge star regardless of what path she chooses. I hope she does what you suggest though, because it would mean I'd see less of her on a regular basis, and in my book that's a good thing.
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2006 I see where you are coming from a little bit more, especially since you said you don't like her. Thing is, I'm not sure being a big star is what her goal is in the immediate future. Right now, just getting away from the pro wrestling business and parlaying that into something a little more respectable and higher paying is probrably the priority.
