Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2006 That series was a wonderful little trip down memory lane, even though I cannot and do not agree with their choice of #1. Thoughts? Opinions?

The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2006 Number one was the Hula Hoop...beating out the top five of Monopoly, Legos, GI Joe, and Barbie.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2006 The Cobraaaaaaaa Commander segments were the best part of the show.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2006 It seems like vh1 is running out of ideas, but this was kinda fun though a lot of this tuff has already been covered in the I love the 70s, 80s, and 90s shows. but Patrice was gold in this as usual (web junk 20 is fun to watch mostly cuz of his commetary)
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2006 Really? I sorta avoid Webjunk 20 BECAUSE of his commentary.
Guest Smues Report post Posted March 12, 2006 I caught 80-61. Good stuff, except for their continued employment of Michael Ian Black.
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2006 The Hula Hoop? Good God. It seems like vh1 is running out of ideas... I was wondering what they'd do since they ran out of decades to comment on.
Guest StylesMark Report post Posted March 13, 2006 #1 certainly was BS. But never the less, I am the Hula Master.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 Really? I sorta avoid Webjunk 20 BECAUSE of his commentary. Did you know he use to be a writer for the WWF (I think it was still the WWF..)? He mentioned that the very first time he was on Opie and Anthony and now he's a regular on their show and they gave him his own Dating Advice show on XM 202 as well. Plus this past week he was giving advice to Lisa Loeb who has that #1 Single show on VH1...hey I managed to right my post back on topic sort of... I think he's hillarious although he laughs at his own jokes too much.

Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 yeah, that's fucked up...EVERYONE was into the Transformers when they first came out, those first 3 or 4 series, EVERYONE was all over them, as much as G.I. Joes...fuck VH1...
AboveAverage484 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 Transformers and Ninja Turtles should both have been top ten. Better longetivity than the Hula Hoop, I think. You can never have enough adventures with action figures, but how long did it to take for everyone to get sick of twirling some plastic ring around your waste. Legos definitely deserve their place. Barbies, I guess so, maybe someone with a sister can better testify to that.

TMNT and Transformers are top 10, no question. I would think a jump rope would have been higher than a hula hoop...you see more double-dutchers than hula hoopers. I'd like to see this list...where did things like Cabbage Patch Kids, My Little Pony, He-Man and Lite-Brite hit?
