Golgo 13 Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Never believe anything from Adult Swim until said show actually appears on the screen.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Never believe anything from Adult Swim until said show actually appears on the screen. exactly I assumed it to be a joke, which AS is known to do.
LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 I was confused why the ran that long Barbara Ann clip last night and then it was the ad. Then later in the night they mentioned the night and time and put a little thing that said something along the lines of [really, we're not joking]. I still don't get it, but oh well.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Weird, I posted last in this thread and yet it says that the poster above me was the last one to post in here...
Guest Princess Leena Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Zack hasn't posted a rant here yet? OMG.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 A rant? Why would he rant about his fave show being on more channels?
bobobrazil1984 Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 As long as its the Zach Morris and company Saved by the Bell and none of that new class bullshit, bring it on. Of course makes you wonder why live action is airing on Cartoon Network but whatever.
Guest Coffey Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 It should be a cartoon where Screech eats spinach Popeye style to take out his preppy bullies.
daileyxplanet Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Of course makes you wonder why live action is airing on Cartoon Network but whatever. Well, they air Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls and Osmosis Jones (half animated). They show should show Cool World >.>.
Gary Floyd Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 This is one of the reasons I love Adult Swim: They fuck with their fans. It cracks me up to see these teenagers and twenty something losers whine about things like this of thing on the internet. Plus, they piss off Inuyasha fanboys and fangirls, and that's always awesome.

They ran a new promo saying that the show is getting a two week run on Adult Swim, IIRC will air at midnight, and basically hinted that it will be the most cheesy episodes of the series that will air.

I was just explaining this to my friend the other night when he was pissed over SBTB coming on.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 They should pay someone to take each episode and animate it keeping the original soundtrack and dialogue. That would be hillarious.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 Great idea Marvin. AS, make it happen! Use the guys who drew Karate Kommandos.
Ced Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 Seeing as how The Oblongs is currently in Adult Swim's midnight slot and I don't have much love for the show, I have no qualms about it being replaced by Saved by the Bell for two weeks. Seeing SBTB and Inuyasha back-to-back is going to be a bit peculiar to say the least.
Zack Malibu Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 An animated SBTB could be entirely possible seeing as how there was a comic book produced of the show, so they could always just copy that artwork. If they ever parodied it that way, it'd be pretty awesome.

Seeing SBTB and Inuyasha back-to-back is going to be a bit peculiar to say the least. That reminds me: Did anyone actually like Oblongs? I remember not liking it too much, and it died a pretty quick death on it's original network. I had a friend who liked it, but he's probably the only person i know who liked it.
Guest Evolution Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 Hate the Oblongs, and if they're going to show the cheesiest of the cheese from SBTB, I'm so there.
daileyxplanet Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 You guys might enjoy this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq3sWEIZyqo...by%20the%20Bell

Art Sandusky Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Yup, Adult Swim was definitely at its peak last winter/spring.
Mecha Mummy Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Yup, Adult Swim was definitely at its peak last winter/spring. I wouldn't even say that. Adult Swim hit its peak in 2004 at the latest, in my opinion. There's still some good stuff on it now, but it's nowhere near as good as it used to be.
DrVenkman PhD Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 I never understood the lyric, "Leave a note on my chair, she won't know that I'm there".
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 It's actually: "Ridin low in my chair she won't know that I'm there"
