Fun show... sports entertainment and a huge Sabu spot are enough to make this a thumbs up.

I fail to see why females are restricted from wearing thongs on WWE TV when it is apparently ok to see Vince McMahon in a thong, Jonathan Coachman in a g-string, and fat midgets with no underwear.

 

Where have you been? Since when have females been restricted in wearing thongs? Every girl who wears a skirt in WWE always has a thong showing, and very visibly. And really, those underwear that all the girls wear...the booty ones, might as well be thongs as they ride up their asses so much.

I didn't think that last nights show was too bad, but it was no where near good. Sabu's spot was the highlight of the night, as well as RVD finally doing the 5 star frog splash the way he used to do it. To me, it seemed that DX tried too hard to be funny, just didn't seem natural, especially with HBK up there thanking Jesus.

I think all of the DX shit seems forced because it is forced, not to mention confused. The original DX didn't do any of that retarded ring intro bullshit, which is from the HHH/RD/BG/Chyna/XPac era.

 

It's all so lame and dated, and not even funny anymore. I hope they pull the trigger on this sooner rather than later.

Tonights show was horrible, how any of you can say that it was ok or decent is beyond me.

Tonights Raw was the shits.

In the past months we've had the ECW show, this show, and the show with Vince's ass and the "drugging" of Shane. This shit is awful. Even worse than 2002's endless Bradshaw vs nWo matches. DX's sliming of the spirit squad was silly and showed how bad the spirit squad are at acting. They were getting up and falling down as if RAW was a cartoon. And DX calling the Squad gay? Right after they treated us to that disturbing shot of Coach's ass? I'm not a homophobe but in the past few weeks I've had detailed zoom-in shots of Vince's ass, coach's ass, midget asses...enough is enough.

 

Thank god for SD v. Raw 2 and picture-in-picture. Every time DX was shown, I just switched over to the game. There's a reason it's called rehash. I can't believe they ripped off Jackass with the stupid fat stripper almost verbatim. How much more uncreative can Creative get?!? Feh.

 

And I've never been a fan of Sabu's, but I'm actually looking forward to his fight v. Cena at the PPV. Here's hoping the match is grounded enough so that's it's not the usual spot:move-to-the-next-spot:spot garbage he usually does.

It amazing how Cena's now getting pops again. I almost started cheering for him while he was getting up -- before he started with his mean face.

 

Sabu is amazing. For someone who's heard a lot about him, but never really saw him in ECW, he is fun to watch. Good gimmick control too. While he plays an arab, he doesn't ever resort to getting cheap foreign heel heat. Or does he? Like I said, I've only read about him.

No, neither wear thongs unless it's a house show or unless they know they won't be seen. They wear those booty shorts that look like a thong at the very bottom but aren't. The last diva to show an actual thong was Trish Stratus when she dressed as Mickie or when Torrie basically gives herself one, but even then the camera pans away. This is an actual edict from above, women aren't to wear thongs. Watch a bikini contest from 98 compared to one now, the difference is evident. Steph had the idea that women should be portrayed as beautiful divas, while Russo wanted them portrayed as dirty gutter sluts. Thats the difference.

Nah, Sabu is usually a face... ish. He doesn't even speak, as he had Fonzie and RVD to do that for him. His gimmick is that he's crazy.

I was their live and I have to say it was by far the least enjoyable show of any a major promotion that I've attended. It just draged and draged for the most part. The sliming of the Spirit Squad should have been at the end of the night, the clean up killed any momentum the show had for pepole in the building. (When WCW was here for Nitro in 2000, they had the common sense to save the New Blood blood falling from the rafters to the end of the show.) I knew coming in that the Raw b/f a PPV wouldn't have a lot of wrestling, but one match that broke ** would have been nice. Conway vs. Venis in the Heat ME was MOTN. After the sliming, I was constanly checking the time just hoping to get out of thier. Watching on DVR today, their was a ton of stuff I just instantly forgot.

 

The DX stuff just sucked bigtime. I wasn't excited about it to begin with, mainly b/c I heat face HHH, but figured their was a chance they could to pull it off. HBK and HHH were trying way to0 hard to be funny, and I had to sit next to my friend who does the same thing. If I wasn't stoned and had a few beers I wouldn't have made it through the night without snaping on someone.

 

Crowd was very hot, first Raw in Rochester sense 2000. Orton was over with all the Tweenies and some of the 20 something bought into his "cool heel" persona I guess to explain his reaction. Defintly a low point in Rochester wrestling crowd history Lots of kids in general, got dirty looks for chanting Cena sucks form kids and parents alike.

 

Real disapointed in the ECW invasion, espcailly after Hyman said he had a "bus load" of ECW wrestlers ready to invade.

Sprit Squad oversells the slim for what seemed like 5 minutes.

 

I didn't have to listen to Lawler who was apparantly in full blown dirty old man mode last night when I watched the DVR.
