2006 NBA Draft

Recommended Posts

Did they pick the most moronic Knick fan in the place for that interview?

"Balkman's a good player, but I think he's a bum!"

Huh?

He said "I think Isiah's a bum"

OK, that makes sense. Thanks, I couldn't hear him very well due to all the morons behind him.

Why is everyone wailing on Portland. They are having one hell of a draft.

Why did they trade up to get Aldridge? Because they got rid of another contract with the trade Greg Anthony you fucking idiot.

So they are walking away with Roy, Aldridge, Rodriguiez and a project to sit on the end of the bench all in the first round. And they got rid of some trash on the bench. They have had a great draft. Screamin A giving them a D for their draft shows how stupid they are.

Call him an idiot if you like, but I happen to agree with him. I think that he had it exactly right: Portland made moves that they didn't have to make, in order to get players that they probably would have been able to get anyway.

"On the clock are the Houston Rockets, who acquired this pick in a trade with...THE KNICKS!"

Screamin A Smith can shut the fuck up. This guy adds nothing redeemable to a broadcast whatsoever.

So yeah, the Blazers probably didn't have to trade up to get Lamarcus Aldridge, but other than that they've had a solid day. That team is in disarray and at least there is someone in there who is looking to overhaul the roster.

How about the fact that they basically paid Phoenix to draft a player for them that would have almost definitely still been there with their next pick?

So the Knicks get Rolando Blackman and Mardy Fish. Whoop de fucking doo. Thank God I went out tonight and didn't stay home or I might have broken my TV.

I don't want Farmar.

I'm ok with it though. He's going to start over Smush next year, which was what had to be done.

Hey, Mardy has a good chance to get far with his draw at Wimbly.

Well, I hope James White is good, since the Pacers felt the need to trade *three* second-round picks for him.

Cheick Samb

I stopped watching a while ago, but when I read that name and saw the weight, I knew the Lakers drafted him. He needs to drop the e out of his name, for obvious reasons.

That pick was as far off the board as they possibly could have went.

The Wizards drafted a guy from Belarus after drafting a guy from the Ukraine.

I hate the NBA Draft cause even though you know a ton about some of the college players, I've never heard of the two the Wiz drafted.

Nothing's "wrong" with it; I'm just pointing out that they could have gotten Rodriguez with the 30th pick. They probably could have gotten him in the second round, and not have to pay him as much money. I think that the notion of them paying what they paid for a player that they probably could have gotten at half the price is silly.

I wish some channel would try educating us on these unknown foreign players before the draft. I'd love to watch it.

No Marco Killingsworth, either. :(

Minnesota usually comes through for us, they drafted Andrae Patterson and Bracey Wright.

Today might just be the greatest day of my life with the exception of the day my son was born. In just a couple hours I will be an NBA player. It feels amazing to finally accomplish a goal that I have had my entire life. I know the real work is ahead of me and that being in the NBA will take a lot more of what I have done my whole life---practice, patience and more practice.

Oh Darius
