C Dubya 04 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2006 Well, as far as songs that Dylan himself performs the best I too really like Tangled Up In Blue. As a song written by Dylan that I don't like his performance of but love the song "Forever Young". Although, I still haven't found a perfect performance of this one. I know someone out there can do it though.
vivalaultra 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2006 "Ballad of a Thin Man" and "Don't Think Twice" have already been taken, so I'll go more obscure and say "With God On Our Side".

Annabelle 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2006 Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 People seriously think this? they can't. thats the lowest point on blonde on blonde. and its the first song. but its fine for a novelty song. sorta.

Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2006 It's just a confusing opinion, because it's an okay song on Blonde on Blonde, and it's about 3 minutes away from a run of some of the best songs by anybody ever. Speaking of which: "One Of Us Must Know (Sooner Or Later)."

Cheech Tremendous 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2006 If Ballad of a Thin Man is off the boards, I cast my vote for Sad Eyed Lady of the Low Lands.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2006 I also have to show love to my favorite Dylan 1-2 punch, which is the utterly heartbreaking "If You See Her, Say Hello" backed up to its polar opposite, "Lily, Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts" on Blood on the Tracks. vivalaultra 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2006 I'd also like to show love for Dylan's melodious croon on "Lay Lady, Lay" and most of the rest of Nashville Skyline. I like that record. Not as much as the some of his other stuff, but it's still a good record and interesting to listen to.

Guest Felonies! Report post Posted July 20, 2006 "Rainy Day Women" kept me from getting into Blonde on Blonde for like a year. I just never got past it.
Giuseppe Zangara 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2006 It's not a bad song—a goofy, if overlong, lark, it is—but it can't be any actual Dylan fan's favorite.

"obviously 5 believers"/"sad-eyed lady of the lowlands." funny, high energy blues number that sounds like it was thrown off in about ten minutes, followed immediately by its total opposite.
