Annabelle

favorite bob dylan song

Recommended Posts

Well, as far as songs that Dylan himself performs the best I too really like Tangled Up In Blue.

As a song written by Dylan that I don't like his performance of but love the song "Forever Young". Although, I still haven't found a perfect performance of this one. I know someone out there can do it though.

"Ballad of a Thin Man" and "Don't Think Twice" have already been taken, so I'll go more obscure and say "With God On Our Side".

Yeah, people and their "opinions." I mean really, WTF?!

its my opinion that 2+2=5

whats your point?

doesn't make it right...

It's just a confusing opinion, because it's an okay song on Blonde on Blonde, and it's about 3 minutes away from a run of some of the best songs by anybody ever. Speaking of which: "One Of Us Must Know (Sooner Or Later)."

Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again is my honorable mention...I think it was Hunter Thompson's fave, so he gets a vote too.

I also have to show love to my favorite Dylan 1-2 punch, which is the utterly heartbreaking "If You See Her, Say Hello" backed up to its polar opposite, "Lily, Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts" on Blood on the Tracks.

I'd also like to show love for Dylan's melodious croon on "Lay Lady, Lay" and most of the rest of Nashville Skyline. I like that record. Not as much as the some of his other stuff, but it's still a good record and interesting to listen to.

Guest Felonies!

"Rainy Day Women" kept me from getting into Blonde on Blonde for like a year. I just never got past it.

Guest Agent of Oblivion

I like that one stuck right in the middle of Blood On The Tracks.

"Simple Twist of Fate" I guess.

i like this game.

"obviously 5 believers"/"sad-eyed lady of the lowlands." funny, high energy blues number that sounds like it was thrown off in about ten minutes, followed immediately by its total opposite.
