Guest Hadley Report post Posted July 24, 2006 With all the (deserved) wwe bashing lately, i think its time to discuss the GOOD things about the present day wwe. Things i enjoy are: Excellent dvds (IMO, the mania of wrestlemania and rise and fall of ecw are tow of the greatest wrestling documentaries ever) Mickie James Edge Armando alejandro estrada on the mic King Booker's court The Leprechaun DX's music Sabu putting people through tables Shelton Benjamin Johnny Nitro MISTERRRRRRRRRRRR Kennedy,,,,,,,,kennedy Spanky and London Bradshaw's commentary Foley's promos

UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2006 The good side of JBL's commentary: JBL being a historian, bringing up neat facts, and putting over all the wrestlers. Mickie James' lovely thick legs. Kendrick & London's new spooky purple & black "evil fencing masks". Umaga. The expressions on Little Bastard's face. A World Champion you can take seriously. No Mark Henry on TV.
Just John 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2006 I'll break this down by group... Smackdown: - Everything except the leprechaun Raw: - Edge - Mickie James - The 3 guys in the IC title hunt - I actually don't have many problems with the personnel, I just hate the way the show's written ECW: - Nothing

haVoc 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2006 Edge AND Lita Nitro and Melina Milena (Diva Search) JBL Booker's Court Little Bastard Cruisers carrying what they call a tag division on SD. If done right, I'm going to enjoy Chavo saying the reason he turned on Rey was because of the Eddie exploitation. Wishful thinking, though.
Enigma 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2006 How can we be really positive about anything in this company when shit like this happens? "Ric Flair taped what was called a great comeback promo against Mick Foley on 7/10 to air the next week, but it got nixed because Brian Gewirtz hated it due to Flair talking about wrestling history and Gewirtz had no idea what he was talking about." Promoter 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2006 The DX angle's potential. I'm serious here. The wwe can really pull a massive angle with the breakdown of the Mcmahon empire or structure. They are already teasing it. The problem I see is Vince not taking himself out of the equation for any long time. If they pull of a great storyline tonight with Steph's baby being HHH's it can lead to an awesome storyline leading into SummerSlam and beyond. HHH/HBK against Shane/Vince will have a whole new meaning. Some here might not like it, but since HHH and Vince are going to put all their damn time into it, there shouldn't be too much crap. Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2006 JBL - I'm really starting to get into him on color; he's arguably the best heel color that the 'E has had since Ventura left, and unquestionably the best heel color since Heenan left. Matt Hardy - I guess I'm the only one, and that's okay; I think that Papacita's the only guy besides me that liked Chyna, so I'm cool with standing alone on this issue. Speaking of which... John Cena - Screw you guys; I like Cena. I generally can't stand the "sports entertainment" aspects of pro wrestling, but Cena's my guilty pleasure. Plus, I think the beat for his ring music is badass. Gregory Helms - I've always liked Helms; if they let him do the Vertebreaker, I could die happy. Okay, that's a little over-the-top, but you get the point. Shelton Benjamin - My favorite performer on RAW, bar none. In fact, ever since I got DVR, I never watch RAW live any more; I just skip ahead to Shelton's matches. Mickie James - I think she's great; she's lost a little something since the height of her feud with Trish, but she still entertains me. Plus, I've always loved women's wrestling, and she's the best one on the roster right now; I just wish that McMahon would take women's wrestling more seriously (or, since that's never going to happen, that Joshi was easier for me to get my hands on). Charlie Haas - I enjoy his work, what can I say? There are some guys that I just think get unfairly buried: Hardy is one, Haas is another. Finlay - I just love watching an old school guy stiffing the shit out of people. Or even just making it look like he is. Pitbulls - These two seem like they're a perfect fit for each other, and I love their style. London and Kendrick - see Pitbulls. Super Crazy - Like with Helms, I've been a Crazy mark since I first heard of him.

Guest scottb75 Report post Posted July 25, 2006 Mickie James - She made women's wrestling interesting again. Hulk Hogan - He's old but he can still put butts in seats. Mick Foley - His interviews the last couple of weeks have been some of the best I've seen in sometime. John Cena - Never a favorite of mine but lately I've liked what I've seen from John. DX - Some great stuff.
