Darthtiki Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 For those on the West Coast w/o the live RAW feed, VH1 Classic will be starting their 24 hr MTV: Day One celebration at 9 PM
Guest Hotbutter Spoontoaster Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 Tonight, WWE Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro will face contenders Shelton Benjamin and Carlito in a Triple Threat Match to finally settle their dispute. But with each man having recently scored a significant win over another, it is anybody's guess who will walk away with the gold tonight. The only thing that is for sure is that all three athletes will be putting on quite a show.
JustJoe2k5 Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 The Rated R Superstar was distraught after Cena pinned his tag team partner Johnny Nitro on RAW. Attention to detail isn't a strong point of WWE.com; Cena made Nitro tap out. You think the people that work for WWE.com watch RAW? They have better things to do.
Guest Hotbutter Spoontoaster Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 WWE.com has learned Monday night will be the debut of "Orton Knows Best". What that will entail is a mystery at this point but with the blossoming rivalry between Orton and Hogan, it may not be pretty.

Guest Hotbutter Spoontoaster Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 WWE headquarters vandalized. As first reported by WWE Mobile Alerts, Mr. McMahon woke this morning to find WWE Headquarters in Stamford, CT spray painted with a DX logo. Stamford Police are currently conducting an investigation to find out who defaced the building. One can only imagine what "The Chairman's" reaction was when he saw the logo of his arch-nemeses defaming his property, but it definitely wasn't a good one. Will "The Chairman" have anything to say about the incident tonight on Raw? Will the police have any leads to report? Who were the culprits? For more on this developing story, tune into Monday night Raw on the USA Network tonight at 9pm/8pm CT, and also stay tuned to WWE.com.

Probably won't be pretty, hopefully the crowd will be silent throughout the entire segment.
UZI Suicide Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 A DX LOGO SPRAYED ON THE BUILDING?! NOW WHO WOULD DO SUCH A THING?!?!

What that will entail is a mystery at this point but with the blossoming rivalry between Orton and Hogan, it may not be pretty. It has great potential to top the promos against Angle this year.

The Niggardly King Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 Benjamin and Carlito both pin Nitro leading to a wacky Co-IC Champions storyline.
Guest netslob Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 A DX LOGO SPRAYED ON THE BUILDING?! NOW WHO WOULD DO SUCH A THING?!?! it was Richard Jewell.

Art Sandusky Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 Kayfabe, straight to your wireless phone! I don't care much about tonight other than seeing Leyla (she's gotta win), the IC title match, and how Michaels/Umaga pans out.
razazteca Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 A DX LOGO SPRAYED ON THE BUILDING?! NOW WHO WOULD DO SUCH A THING?!?! it was Richard Jewell. it was Al Coholic!
AnonymousBroccoli Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 It was kind of mentioned already, but this will be the last Raw to air on TSN in Canada. The memories of 10+ years of coming back late from commercials, crowd shots during attacks on women, extended commercial breaks during necrophilia, and that stupid score ticker popping up are all flooding in.
DrVenkman PhD Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 Hey, can you guys stop advertising WWE.com's announced matches until after 7pm? It gives people who check this forum but not WWE.com an unfair Fantasy advantage. Help a brother out, k?
RepoMan Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 I'm looking forward to some great over selling by HBK vs. Umaga at least, otherwise I'm not too optimistic.
NoCalMike Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 "Orton Knows Best".......how to lower the Ratings.
Atticus Chaos Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 From pwinsider.com We have just gotten word that Hulk Hogan is not at tonight's Raw/Smackdown taping. There's actually a look-alike there who will be part of a parody "Orton Knows Best" skit on tonight's show. He apparently looks so much like Hogan that even people in the business were fooled by him when they saw him arrive at the show earlier today
razazteca Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 "Orton Knows Best" is going be Randy saying "Yo Brooke what's up.....yo Nick what's up....yo Linda what's up?"

The Niggardly King Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 How did HBK/Umaga end last time?
Guest Hotbutter Spoontoaster Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 DQ win for Umaga, I think.
Downhome Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 From PWInsider: Mike Johnson is live at tonight's Raw/Smackdown Supershow and will be sending in reports throughout the evening. In a dark match prior to the Smackdown taping, Hardcore Holly made his return to the ring and pinned Simon Dean with the Alabama Slam. Like the guy, or hate him, that's great news if you ask me, considering he almost died in the past year.
ChrisMWaters Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Your Summerslam main event, Smackdown side: WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP King Booker © (w/Queen Sharmell) vs. Hardcore Holly
Aero Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 As long as Holly is kept in the mid-card, I don't mind him at all. In fact, I demand a Finlay-Holly feud to determine who the toughest guy in the SD locker room is.
