I know WWE would love Cena vs. Orton, as that is their big future money match in their own minds.

For sure it won't have the same zing it could have given they've wrestled each other a few times and Cena even pinned Orton clean in one of the matches, but I think it could, given the right build up, be their best prospect for a big money match that doesn't involve bringing back Austin, Rock, Hogan or Lesnar.

If Hogan vs. Austin doesn't happen, I see Vince doing Batista vs. Cena. The only problem is that I see the Detroit fans booing that match out of the building with chants like " You both Suck". Oh, and lots of toilet paper will be thrown in the ring.

That's actually a damn good comparison.

I don't know about Cena winning the MITB. I guess it's alright, but there's really noone on Raw's roster right now that I'd like to see win it.

I Carlito, but I'd rather see him win the Rumble like you said.

So, I guess somebody new debuting between now and WM. Harry Smith, or a repackaged Ken Doane, or somethin'.

Realistically, Orton will win it.

He'll also be the first guy not to win the title after getting the MITB.

The sad thing is that there are a lot of people that I don't what you do with around Mania. I think Kane's going to retire sometime soon... so I'd have him put over Umaga in a high profile match on the way out. I don't know what you can do with Michaels or Triple H.

I'm pretty sure its going to be HHH / Edge for Wrestlemania 23. After all, it will be two years by then that HHH hasn't had the title and he wants to make # 11 title win special.

I figured WWE would book Cena / Orton for one of these upcoming Wrestlemanias regardless of it being for the title or not, but then again Cena / Batista has mark appeal all over it.

As for the SD side, I like Lashley, but I'm not too fond of the idea of him being in the co-WM main event. (It was talked about shortly after 22 ended)

WWE doesn't need nostaglia for Wrestlemania to be a success. They proved that this year by having a shallow card and no appearances whatsoever from Stone Cold, Rock, or Hogan and WM 22 was still a hit.

However, I think to make XXIII special, they should try their best to those guys involved in some way whether it be a match or a segment at least. Hell, I'd even love to see Lesnar come back.

And you know Vince would love to once again put himself on the card, but instead of against Foley, I think its only fair that Austin / McMahon be a match on the card if they absolutely cannot do Austin / Hogan at all.

I just don't see where some of you get this notion in your heads that Undertaker is ending his streak....especially to people like CM Punk and Chris Benoit, I'm sorry, but get real. Taker has too much protection to end his streak to someone that isn't Austin calibur or Triple H.

I can see the Undertaker losing to Chris Benoit. The Undertaker vs Chris Benoit at Wrestlemania for the streak has been and is the ultimate dream match in all of wrestling today.

Some of you guys are crazy hoping for all these guys that don't care about WWE any more to come back.

Batista is proof that a nobody can become WM material if booked right. A long slow build with a good rub from established guys.

Carlito could be that guy if they booked him right. He has more charisma than Batista and is over now even though his booking has been garbage. He hasn't had any fueds of note or gotten rubs from anyone really in a sustained way, and is still over.

I doubt that Orton will be involved because of all his problems with behavior, drug testing, etc. I'm sure they will plan for that but give up on it eventually. He just cannot be trusted with responsibility.

I say, move Cena over to Smackdown and do Cena/Benoit or Cena/Lashely, and do Carlito/Edge of Raw.

I have been waiting for that as well. One part of me wants to see the Undertaker lose his streak to a wrestler that still has a lot of life in the ring ahead of him. The other part wants to see he and Benoit put on a clinic, and witness not only Benoit beat him at Mania, but do the unthinkable and make him TAP THE FUCK OUT.

Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak is probably the greatest put-over in wrestling today. Imagine the credibility that ending it would give to someone.

Guys, quit having a wetdream.

Benoit is NOT ending Undertakers streak, and shouldn't END Undertakers streak. If any wrestler ends Undertakers, it should be someone who could GAIN somthing from it, and has yet to become a World Champion. What does Benoit gain from beating Takers streak, aside from internet nerds typing on their computer how happy they are?

Now I like Benoit as much as the next guy, he is one of the greatest North American wrestlers to ever grace the ring. But at the same time, he isn't going to be a huge draw now or in the future.

There's tons of talent in the WWE right now that can gain alot more from ending Taker's streak then Benoit.

The Undertaker will never lose at WrestleMania. His whole HOF induction will be centered on the fact that he went 25-0 or whatever at the Grand Daddy of them all. Numerous, numerous times we have all talked about how, when, and who he will lose to. It's not going to happen. He'll probably face Viscera or Umaga in Detroit in a Buried Alive or some other gimmick match, and win.

Can't believe I'm about to say this, but you hit the nail right on the head.

EHME is right...if they were gonna pull the trigger on ending the streak, WM21 was the time to do it. Orton was getting over as a heel again at that point and that win would have shot him straight to the top. Unless they're planning that with someone else, keep the streak alive.

If I were to pick one guy to end the streak out of the current bunch, it would probably be Lashley. I just don't have faith that they can properly build it up with him, or with anyone. Orton is the only one that I've bought as a threat to end the streak.

Not only do I agree with you on this, but I don't think he should lose at Wrestlemania. There are very few truly special things in wrestling anymore, and this is one of them. The only reason Taker should lose is if Taker himself is basically demanding that he put someone over, and I don't see that happening. I'm all for Benoit/Taker, but Taker should win.

The problem is that the wrestling business is not about winning streaks. When you build something up so much like his streak. It's going to be a natural (and in my opinion, the correct) thing to do is to pay it off by having someone end it. Goldberg's streak had to end sometime, and if used on the right guy, it would have gotten the guy over. It just happened to be Kevin Nash. Taker's streak needs to end.
