10 Pounds 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2006 I sorta guessed either Kellerman or Mahone was gonna turn on the other, but I didn't think there were gonna do a face turn with Kellerman. He could have wanted all the glory of capturing the brothers and redeem himself to Smilin' Asian Dude but he was going to eat a bullet anyway, so hooray for Kellerman. Sucks for Mahone and Bellick though.

Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2006 Wow I'm really annoyed with the stupidity of the entire Bellick getting arrested arc. Are these cops just plain stupid? Can they not check when he left the message threatening Geary, two seconds after the one detective walked away from him, and compare that to time of death? Also, nevermind the fact that they were hauling Geary IN when Bellick was LEAVING. Yes, he magically teleported himself to Geary's hotel to kill him and was back at the Hospital in time to see him DOA. Riiight, that's some great writing there. I know it's such a small arc, but it's really disappointing to see lazy writing like this on a show that I'm actually really digging. That's *if* they know the time of death yet. We could easily assume they don't at the time of his arrest, since Bellick's questioning is still the day of (or maybe day after) Geary's death. Also unknown is when Bellick came in to the hospital. It's conceivable Bellick came in an hour or 2 before Geary did, which would make the timelines work. Now, if Bellick gets convicted of killing Geary, then I'd have some problems (i.e. no prints of Bellick found at the scene, the time of the voicemail & time of death, lack of a murder weapon, etc.) OK, so I'm on board with "how the hell did Bellick get convicted?" Are we to assume he got convicted on the strength of the voicemail & a credit card receipt? Any half-decent lawyer could've gotten him off. Although, I doubt Bellick had the coin to hire a lawyer, and had to rely on a court-appointed one. Still, that's kinda weak. And on top of that, putting him in gen pop? Are they trying to make us feel bad for Bellick? Cuz I do feel bad for the guy. Hopefully his sentence gets overturned, and he gets out. I like the big lug. T-Bag is so awesome. Doing who-knows-what to that vet to steal his prosthetic hand? "Daddy's home."? AWESOME. What did Sara do in the bathroom? Did she cut off her fingerprints? I didn't quite get what she was doing. I wonder if we're ever going to see any more Haywire.

I think the whole idea was to show us that, indeed, Bellick is not all that smart. And now he's gonna be Avacado's personal guacamole. T-Bag is so awesome. Doing who-knows-what to that vet to steal his prosthetic hand? "Daddy's home."? AWESOME. "Charmingly evil" were the words my wife used. What did Sara do in the bathroom? Did she cut off her fingerprints? I didn't quite get what she was doing. She cut her hair. All that scraping was apparently to sharpen the blade. I think we were meant to think that she was gonna kill herself. I wonder if we're ever going to see any more Haywire. We will if anyone bothers to look north instead of south. The Metal Maniac 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2006 Any half-decent lawyer could've gotten him off. I would not be surprised to find out that his lawyer works for the Company, just the way he said something like "When the system wants you, they're going to get you." At least, I hope he did, otherwise that little subplot makes NO FRIGGIN' SENSE.

Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2006 OK, I loved Kellerman's asshole-face turn, but I have a serious problem with the Bellick storyline. There's no way he'd be able to serve his time in Fox River because of his previous employ there. He would know too many people who could sneak God knows what in to the unit to him. And, there's also no way he gets thrown in to Gen Pop. He wouldn't last a day. He'd be put in protective custody and serve his time in Ad Seg away from everyone else. It's not showing favoritism, it's common sense. As it is, you've got the warden practically asking for a homicide investigation. Not a good way to begin his tenure. dubq 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2006 It's true. The entire Bellick arc reeks of lazy and stupid writing, IMHO.
Guest Shylock Report post Posted December 1, 2006 Bellick wasn't convicted, but he was offered a plea deal. Since he had an apparently bad lawyer and the evidence was mounted against him he took it and added the condition that he be sent to a prison in Illinois so he could be close to his mother. I'm sure he figured he might get preferential treatment, but that's not going to happen with the new warden especially after the breakout. So he shoved him in Gen Pop and that was that. Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2006 I don't know how I feel about the Bellick thing. If he's locked away and not after the convicts then what's his real purpose on the show? Since it seems like they'll be going back to him

Craig Th 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2006 From AP BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - A sport utility vehicle carrying Lane Garrison of TV's "Prison Break" and three teenagers struck a tree, killing a 17-year-old boy, police said. Two 15-year-old girls inside the vehicle were also injured, one critically, during the late Saturday night accident, police said. Garrison, 26, had minor injuries. The vehicle jumped a curb and hit a tree. Authorities were trying to determine who drove the SUV, which was registered to Garrison. The boy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he died. His name was not released. The conditions of the girls were not immediately released. Garrison, a Dallas native, plays "Tweener" on Fox's "Prison Break." He has worked mainly in television, but appears in the upcoming film "Shooter," which is due out next year. Garrison's publicist, Catherine Olim, did not immediately return a phone call Sunday. Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2006 I love how people question the logic of this show. Can people please take this show for what it is worth and stop bitching. Normally I can suspend my disbelief, but I worked in corrections for a few years and I've seen what happens to officers who were stupid enough to get thrown in to prison. It was just annoying, that's all. I'm so sorry I dared to violate the sanctity of the glowing talking box.

Pegasus Kid 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2006 I finally got caught up with this show after watching 8 eps in one shot. - Fun as it is to watch, it's a shame that Haywire was basically reduced to comic relief. - The C Note arc is just odd. The FBI basically dropped any interest in him after his got his wife and daughter. They basically just treat him like any average criminal after that. I almost thought they were going to drop that arc when you saw that black FBI agent back at HQ and yapping about something completely different. - Bellick's story was flat out stupid. How difficult is it to cross reference when Bellick was in the hospital compared to when the murder took place? It doesn't really surprise me that his lawyer would go for a plea bargain considering he's paid for by the state anyway. Either way, it looks like they just wanted to hotshot getting him out of there and that's insulting to the viewer. - I called Kellerman's turn as soon as he realized that he was going to be erased by the same people that he's worked for for so long. Obvious as it was, I'm really glad it happened. I really like Kellerman's character in that likeable asshole kind of way. It's going to be really interesting when the new Big 3 end up finally meeting with Tankredi and she has a complete freak out of the one man she trusts teaming with the guy that tried to kill her. - On a related note. If the guys hadn't improvised their exit, forcing everyone into that final showdown, would Kellerman have sniped everyone from the roof or did he never intend to kill Burrows & Schofield? MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2007 I actually thought it was a pretty good show for Prison Break standards. I saw Steadman's suicide from a mile away though. No idea where C-Note and his daughter is going. T-Bag holed up with the family will make for some good tv, maybe. No Sara or Sucre although they were shown in the preview for next week. Mahone's kid getting injured to get him back in only to have him shoot the guy, that was awesome. Oh and not mentioned in the preview for next week, but its in the tivo preview is that HAYWIRE!!!!!! is in next week's episode. YAY and stuff.
