Prison Break

Just seems like a generic asian playing the "I'm only here cause I have to be and am doing the bare minimum" role. Not sold

I may be completely out of the loop but isn't Wyatt the black "Super Soldier" torturing Bruce Bennett played by Miranda's husband in Grey's anatomy Cress Williams, not the generic annoying asian computer hacker.

Though I loved how linc has now mellowed to Fichtner just cos they killed his son, though I truely am starting to get pissed of at how T-Bag keeps getting away with every thing, how many jobs do not at least arrange for some kind of photographic id before offering employment??

Dude's got a lot of stress...wonder how long till the nosebleeds lead to more.

I also wonder how long this card angle will last. They seem to be moving along quickly. Not loving the start of the season. If they're not either breaking out or running then the show doesn't work for me as well. I understand that the company is still after them, but it doesn't seem as threatening this season

I'm betting the card storyline will end mid-season.......doesn't this show take a significant break around halfway through?

Not sure what the bloody noses are all about, but I'm betting that will play a heavier role in the second part of the season.

Well we still haven't heard anything about those scientist guys that appeared at the end of season 2's finale. I'm guessing it'll involve them and Michael having been genetically engineered or something.

Care to remind me what that was all about? End of Season 2 seems like so long ago (even though it wasn't). All I remember was season 2 ended with them all locked up in Panama.....where and how did the scientists come into the mix?

They were in the very last scene of the finale, just some underground looking facility with a couple guys talking vaguely about Michael. Don't remember anymore than that myself.

On the subject of questions that will likely never be answered, why did the bald general only communicate via notecards in season one and most of season two?

...yeah, what the hell was that about?

I still like the show, but it seems to follow the same formula over and over again. I would like to see Mahone kill this season's super soldier though

I always interpreted that as he wouldn't speak anywhere he could be bugged/tapped (in cars etc). Didnt he meet Kim in a boat somewhere out at sea and show his pad saying "Is it safe to talk?". Im guessing when he's at Company HQ etc he feels pretty secure in talking....

I'll get into my Prison Break rant later maybe, but it was cool to see Veronica Donavan (Season 1, played by Robin Tunney) last night in the Mentalist.

It was funny because I knew that I remembered her from somewhere and it took me like half the episode before I realized who it was.

The thing that annoyed me about the latest episode is T-Bag's mugshot being presented to the secretary. Bellick & Sucre show her THE mugshot that was posted everywhere after the initial breakout, and she only recognizes him as that guy that works in her office? From what I understand, this season takes place only a month or two after Fox River, so the mugshot should still be fresh in a lot of people's minds.

It is, of course, possible that she did recognize T-Bag but saw the opportunity to get his money instead, but that just means she's a complete idiot for attempting to get money from a convicted murderer.

I liked the episode otherwise, especially Mahone being able to get close to tracking down the hitman.

Not necessarily. Fox River was in IL, and they are in Los Angeles now. She may have heard about the break-out, but she may not have paid much attention to it seeing as it was 1/2 way across the country.

I thought the same thing at first, but how many people recognized anyone from the Fox River Eight throughout the country in season two? C-Note, Tweener, Sucre, Michael, and Lincoln were all spotted and reported to the cops on numerous occasions all over the country. It's definitely possible the secretary might just be that clueless. It just seems too convenient, but that can be said about a lot of situations in the show.

Bumping this as the show has started getting better, story wise. From the previews for November it looks like they're finally getting away from the Mission Impossible/Ocean's 13 scenarios, and back into the 'big mission'.

Last night's episode was great because that tech nerd got shot, and I'm glad Wyatt killed him, before getting his ass whipped.

That was one of the better episodes so far this season. But I'll be damned if Wyatt isn't dead.

Aw, man, RIP Brad Bellick :(

At least you got to see your mom again, and went out a hero.

Predictable death once I heard that a series regular who "had been there from the beginning" was buying it. They weren't taking out one of the trinity (Michael, Linc, Sucre) and T-Bag has got his own subplot going. Tancredi... well, they already "killed" her once.

When they were going on about someone dying I first thought that is Mahone kills Wyatt then he's pretty much done what he has to do and it could be him.

But after Brad started talking to Linc about his kid and was being...nice. I pretty much figured it was him.

I'm just losing interest in the show. The direction it's gone since season two isn't working for me

All I heard was that someone was dying. I didn't hear it was someone that had been there since the beginning, so I was thinking it was definitely going to end up being Mahone after a Wyatt escape.

I haven't been into the show as much either, as it's been just a show that I'll watch online whenever I get the chance. I will say that it definitely has picked up within the last few episodes.

I'm glad that Bellick went out the way he did - you had to know he was gonna die sooner or later, and that was a decent way to do it.

That said, watching that episode, I was dying to know how the fuck their ARC WELDER ran out of gas, considering they run on electricity.

And I gotta agree with the comments that this show is losing my interest. I mean, I clicked on some Youtube link up there to see the final moments of Season 2, and it reminded me how incredibly fucking pumped I was watching that season. Now, I'm really just waiting for it to hurry up and end.

from aintitcoolnews

Fox seems to be getting ready to stick a fork in “Prison Break” with a possible two-part series finale.

The four-year-old series, from director Brett Ratner (the “Rush Hour” series) and writer Paul Scheuring (the 2003 Vin Diesel vehicle “A Man Apart”), has been teetering on extinction since season one.

From The Hollywood Reporter:

Fox might run the bonus material as two additional episodes in the spring, though that is considered unlikely because "Prison" has struggled in the ratings this fall and the remaining six episodes of its original 22-show order weren't on the network's recently released midseason schedule.

it wouldn't bother me. I think the show has overstayed its welcome

Well since they seem to be building to finally and totally exposing the company and having the feds now on top of it, it seems to be coming to a total conculsion anyway, so they must have been almost preparing for it coming to an end, it seems. I still do enjoy the show, but was wondering what would be the point of going on after this season anyway, assuming they wrap up this cylla storyline.

I wish they'd set an ending in sight in the first place so it wouldn't be rushed.

Seasons 1 and 2 were great. Season 3 was good, but he just happens to end up in a prison in another country where a company man that needs breaking out is being held? C'mon

And I've not been too happy with this season, still good enough tv, but it's nowhere near the level of the first two seasons
