Comments which don't warrant a thread

Recommended Posts

was just having a look at one of my buddies pics from the RAW House show this past weekend and couldn't help but post this awesome pic of Lance Cade n517308335_55954_5254.jpg

Guy would be on his 3rd World Championship reign if this were 20 years ago.

Thank You

My Laugh for the day

I think the most recent Observer had Dave use the line "Cade, looking like he just came back from time off for multiple serious injuries".

That's nice that they could find the queerest looking picture of him possible to display.

I honestly didn't realize he was still with them. I think he's a pretty talented big man, though. I wouldn't mind seeing him in TNA.

So right now it's:

-- Rob Conway

-- 2 Cold Scorpio

-- Vito

Can we expect anymore spring cleaning to prepare for the DivaSearch?

I guess that ends the talk of Guido/Vito becoming a heel tag team to feud with The Majors and Richards/Random jobber for the ECW tag titles (current WON note).

Shannon Moore should probably avoid answering the phone.

Ah, if he gets fired, he can go to TNA and be "The Prince of Punk" again. Then they'll fire him, and he'll go back to WWE...

I believe Vito was sort of a malcontent and the dress angle was as punishment, though he ran with it as far as it could go. I thought he looked pretty bad ass as the thai fighter/sagat look-a-like gimmick down in DSW. He could have never did that in the wwe though, as everybody would remember him wearing a dress. I assume TNA will have no interest in him, his best bet would be to head over to Japan and maybe come back after awhile under the muay thai fighter gimmick.

That's a typical tag team finish. Edge hit Batista with the belt while MVP was the legal man and MVP got the cover. I wouldn't get too worked up over it.

I know it's the typical finish, but seeing Batista get beaten over Benoit is just...weird. Benoit's been put in the role to carry the workload and drop the fall for so long, that it's strange seeing him not lose when he normally would.

I don't mean to sound like a prick, but your looking to deeply into who got the pinned in that match.

I asked Meltzer about the house show booking, and if there was anything in it:

I'm sure there is. Not exactly sure what, tho. Obviously made someone mad.

Anyone know whatever happened to referee Nick Patrick. I don't think hes been on TV for quite some time.

Didn't they say that he had backproblems about 2 weeks ago on Smackdown?

Sabu Looks to be Gone

From PWInsider.com

Former ECW World champion Sabu is gone from World Wrestling Entertainment, according to several sources. Sabu arrived hours late for tonight's scheduled Smackdown/ECW taping in Baltimore, Maryland and didn't even have his ring gear with him. I am told he was sent home from the taping and has been/will be released by the company.

Sabu, one of the trendsetters of the original Extreme Championship Wrestling, signed with WWE a year ago as part of the re-launched ECW brand. Sabu received a big push early in the brand's run, including challenging ECW champion Big Show at last year's Summerslam PPV before being deemphasized as a focal point.

It's crazy to think that The Sandman might be the only one to survive out of the Originals.

No way Sandman keeps his job over Dreamer.

Dreamer is Shane O-Mac's buddy.

You're trying to tell me Sabu being fired doesn't warrant a thread? Whatever.

There are people in WWE who would deserve a thread if they got fired. Sabu is not one of them.

Putting every single comment is this stupid thread has ruined all discussion in the WWE folder. Mega-threads suck.

MORE ON SABU'S DEPARTURE FROM WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT

by Mike Johnson @ 7:36:00 PM on 5/15/2007

World Wrestling Entertainment issued an announcement on their website confirming the release of former ECW World champion Sabu, which PWInsider.com broke earlier this evening.

According to one source, the plan for tonight's ECW TV was for Sabu to wrestle Kevin Thorn, putting him over. Sabu reportedly balked at the match, claiming a neck injury. There are some who believe that Sabu arrived late this week expecting to be sent home as he's made noises to others about being unhappy working for the company. There have been some other recent instances of his arriving late and/or without his gear, including a TV appearance a few weeks back where he ended up wearing Daivari's boots and tights.

There are rumblings of an incident involving Sabu taking place over the weekend in Cincinnati as well, but I haven't been able to confirm any details at this time.

This thread is for comments that are minor enough to not warrant a thread devoted exclusively to discussion about it. Sabu being fired is one such comment, because Sabu has no real value to WWE. Now, if John Cena gets fired, I can guarantee you won't see that moved here, because that would actually warrant a thread.

This is why I stopped posting here.

People bitched when trivial newsbits cluttered the forum. Trivial newsbits get their own thread, and still people bitch.

That's ridiculous. This thread should be used for comments like "Wow, Mark Henry looks fat" or "That spinner belt sure looks like shit." Someone getting fired is actual news and warrants a bit of discussion. The WWE folder is dead, and I place all blame on this thread.

I think Sabu is a big enough name in the wrestling world to warrant a thread on his firing, since it sounds like more is going to be coming out about it.

So, will Sabu end up back in TNA?
