I see tons of average looking guys with hot chicks everyday. We can all be one of those guys if we put a stop to our self-limiting beliefs and self-imposed restrictions. Anything is possible! We just have to try and NOT be afraid of rejection. Money helps, too, but then explain to me why so many nerdy-looking dudes on my campus are with long-legged, ample-bosomed, hot pink-pussied blondes?
Taker666 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2006 The following is a statement from the Chairman of the Board of WWE: "We at WWE apologize for the remark alluding to the death of Steve Irwin which was made on ECW on Sci Fi Tuesday night. The remark was, in the least, disrespectful to Mr. Irwin's fans and family." What was said? Although I'm not sure I want to know. Also, they should prolly aplogise for two Hurrican Katrina remarks on Raw ten days ago. "During a promo in which he distanced himself from "dumb jocks," Striker said that fans would never catch him swimming with stingrays, referencing a stingray's role in Irwin's death." I thought the comment was stupid because it had absolutly nonthing to do with what he was talking about, that comment just came out of nowhere for the hell of it. milliondollarchamp 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2006 On Wednesday, Bryan Alvarez reported that there are changes happening with the WWE’s “Wellness” Policy (aka drug policy). Wrestlers who now fail tests (and receive suspensions such as 30-day, 60-day, etc.) will continue to appear on television, but they will be working for free during the time of their suspension. Furthermore, Several wrestlers on the RAW roster did, in fact, fail drug tests and will continue to be wrestling on the road without earning a salary. If this policy sounds familiar, it should. It happened in the 1990s when McMahon had drug testing. From the mindset of a wrestling promoter, having wrestlers fail drug tests and be yanked from television/PPVs after being suspended wreaks havoc on trying to book long-term programs. For McMahon’s rationale, he can still claim publicly that wrestlers who fail drug tests are in fact suspended without pay, therefore claiming that the policy still has teeth. Given the lack of negative attention about McMahon’s “Wellness” policy in the general public, it’s doubtful that he will face any sort of negative repercussions at all by these new changes
Guest Hotbutter Spoontoaster Report post Posted September 8, 2006 There has been some talk at the WWE discussion table in regards to bringing back Kevin Nash, 47, and Scott Hall, 47 (48 next month). Should they return, the duo would come in to feud with DX once the McMahon .VS. DX feud runs its course. The possibility of a "DX .VS. NWO" feud seems to be much too hard to write off completely and that it should at least be considered. As expected, there are some people within WWE who don't want anything to do with either Kevin Nash nor Scott Hall, all for different reasons. WWE sources are denying the possibility of The Outsiders returning to WWE, but they have admitted that the idea of them returning has been proposed within various circles. Kevin Nash's TNA status is currently in limbo. If his contract hasn't run out already, it probably will soon. As for Scott Hall, in an interview with a Puerto Rico wrestling site back in June, he said that he was healthy and that he was training for a possible in-ring return. k thx 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2006 When a wrestler leaves OVW to be on the main roster, if his absence kayfabed or do the commentators not acknowledge that they ever existed? I remember watching a segment on Confidential where they ran an angle on Cena jumping to Smackdown which involved Jim Cornette. What are some examples? I haven't seen it recently, but certainly in the Heyman era the wrestlers remained on OVW TV for a while (fr example, Punk only recently dropped the OVW title). For gimmicks which are drastic changes, they realise that the people watching are likely to be smart to what's going on. With the Tolands and Mr Anderson being called up under different names, they aknowledged the name changes on OVW TV (and in Andersons gave the reason for the change). For the Spirit Squad, they had Jeter get his hair cut off in the ring (I think it was retaliation for him cutting someone elses hair off, but I'm not sure). Afterwards he was looking distraught when the Spirit Squad came up and took him in. I'm sure there are other examples, but most of the call-ups recently have been in gimmicks that are related to their OVW persona.

BorneAgain 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2006 The HD Experiment's beginning WWE goes HD By Jen Hunt September 8, 2006 This Sunday, WWE will conduct it's first full blown high-definition test when it tapes a SmackDown live event at Mohegan Sun Arena completely in HD. The event won't be televised, but will be closely watched and analyzed by WWE executives, including Mr. McMahon, as many variables will be explored. "High-definition television has a different aspect ratio," Senior Vice President of Television Operations Mike Grossman told WWE.com. "The screen is wider than standard definition television, so we want to see how that widescreen aspect ratio effects what we see on the screen. It's a very vivid image and the Superstars will be very vivid." Several other aspects of production that would be effected by going HD will be experimented with as well. "We're actually going to have a makeup artist that has experience in HD," said Grossman. "They use airbrushing techniques as opposed to traditional makeup. But we also need to see how our lighting is affected, how pyro translates to hi def… And then there's audio. When we make the move to HD we'll be broadcasting and recording in 5.1 surround sound so we'll be playing with that too." Sunday's test is just one step in the transition process to recording and distributing content in HD. The transition will require tens of millions of dollars of upgrades in equipment and a minimum of three years to complete. However, if everything goes well Sunday, WWE fans may be able to start enjoying their favorite Superstars like never before. "We can provide HD content, [but] our broadcast partners have not migrated to a true HD platform as of yet," explained Vice President of Event Technical Operations Duncan Leslie. "The first way our fans could see our content in HD [might be] through home video on DVDs." By 2009, all television broadcasts will be migrated to a digital format. While it will be a long and costly process, WWE is excited about the opportunities this presents. "There's an excitement about it because it is a challenge," said Leslie. "One thing that we're really good at is changing and upgrading and pushing the envelope. We're going to do HD like no one else has ever done it, just like we do everything else. I'm sure there will be techniques that we employ that will be copied. From that perspective, it's a challenge to do it better than anyone else."

gWIL 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2006 This is what I would like to see at No Mercy. Of course Cena will win at Unforgiven, but we can have hope, right? Benoit will be returning soon, so he'll likely be involved, maybe he can return after they do a Mysterio injury angle. Lashley should be in a higher profile match, but if Sylvester is really in the doghouse they can feed him to Lashley. World Heavyweight Championship John Cena vs. King Booker United States Championship The Undertaker vs. Ken Kennedy Blow-Off Match Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero Finlay vs. Batista WWE Tag Team Championship Texas Tornado Match The Hooliganz vs. The Teacher’s Pets vs. The Pitbulls WWE Cruiserweight Championship Gregory Helms vs. Matt Hardy Lashley vs. Sylvester Terkay M.V.P. vs. Vito The Miz vs. Jimmy Wang Yang If Cena stays on Raw, just make it Batista vs Booker and Finlay vs Lashley.
