Comments which don't warrant a thread

On some discs and/or players, it is possible to hit "stop" during the PSA then hit a button for the DVD's main menu. I've had this work with some WWE DVDs, but other times after doing that shortcut, selecting the Play option goes back to the PSA.

What ever happened to needing a managers license and being able to ban people from ringside that do not have one?

I must say I marked out when one of the Harris Boys busted out a manager's license on a 2001 ep of Thunder as a 'neck injury' prevented him from wrestling.

But Hey, I remember Gorilla Monsoon saying on an edition of SNME that Earthquake shouldnt be allowed to accompany Dino Bravo because he doesnt have a Managers License.. Jesse asked 'how do you know he doesnt have a managers license gorilla?' to which monsoon replied 'Because he holds a Wrestling lisence... and you cant hold BOTH licenses... get that guy outta here!'

So I fear the Harris Boy license was a fake!

That was actually WrestleMania VI but the point still stands.

Maybe this deserves a thread of its own but anyway:

Torrie Wilson's dog

So, if WWE had a website back in the late 80s...does that mean Frankie, Matilda, and Damien would have gotten bios too?

So why didn't Fifi get a profile last year, then?

Because there was more than one Fifi, despite what they'd have you believe.

Chloe may be small in stature, but she has proven that she's not afraid to mix things up in the ring. She made her presence felt recently on RAW during Carlito's Beat the Clock Match against Victoria. While Chloe's interference did not result in a win for Victoria, it did distract Carlito who surely didn't think Chloe was cool. There's no telling what the future holds for Chloe

That's cute. Cloe vs Trish for the Women's Title at WrestleMania? A dog as Women's champion would be great because of all the hilarious "bitch" insults that would ensue.

I just got off the phone w/ Ric Flair (against his attorney's orders) who was President of WCW at the time and he informed me that Don Harris had his wrestling license suspended so that he could procure a manager's license to be at his brother's side at all times.

I hope the Boogeyman crosses paths with Chloe at one of the joint PPV's.

The finish comes when Boogeyman gets a bag of worms, overfeeds Chloe with them, then Chloe "dies" in the middle of the ring after barking in pain. Boogeyman pins Chloe and wins the match.

How do bodyguards (like Diesel and Sid were for HBK or D-Lo for the original Nation) figure into the whole license issue? Is there a special "bodyguard license" that allows them to wrestle sometimes while also protecting their clients?

Yeah he says he likes the movie about two gay cowboys. Then he says 'what would you do if you were on the road all the time with just one person. What would you do if you were alone with Trevor Murdoch, think about it'. Basically he's saying he's bi. Wouldn't surprise me if they put Lance Cade with Murdoch again and they are the two gay cowboys........I hope Vince is not reading this.

More fun backstage notes...

Morale within the WWE lockerroom is at a ten year lowpoint according to PWTorch.com, with Eddie Guerrero's death, the impending drug testing and Johnny Ace's management style all making working for the company feel more like an obligation than a dream come true.

Top WWE names like Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker are very unimpressed with the current atmosphere, and a number of veterans, in general, have expressed frustration with the poor training accompanying many of the younger wrestlers.

Chris Benoit, who will be up for a contract renewal very soon, has been keeping to himself since Guerrero's death. His contractual decision is being closely followed by everyone in the lockerroom, as Benoit is respected as a model for making the right decision based on the circumstances.

"I think a lot of people inside the wrestlers locker rooms are looking at what happens with Benoit, because if he quits, then it really says something," one source told PWTorch. "If Benoit is willing to walk away, it's a lot different than Christian, who is praised publicly by the wrestlers. But a lot of wrestlers also think Christian is a mark."

Tajiri's wife, eager to spend more time with her frequently-traveling husband, had been pushing for his leaving WWE. The company, interested in keeping Tajiri on-board, arranged to get her a driver's license in the United States so that she could live more of a life in her husband's absence, but when Eddie Guerrero died, Tajiri put the situation into perspective and decided to move back to Japan with his spouse.

Matt Hardy has been flying under the proverbial radar backstage, simply showing up and working in a way that, sans the incident with Undertaker at Survivor Series, will not anger WWE management.

"There is no doubt he's bummed out that things haven't worked out as he imagined they would, but he's got Ashley, so his decision to return to WWE hasn't been all bad," one coworker said.

Although Hardy has yet to publicly say he made a mistake in signing with WWE over TNA, many are of the impression that he does feel that way. Hardy reportedly keeps an eye on TNA to see what "could have been" if he signed with the number two company instead.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this since its mostly stuff we already know, but thought it was worth mentioning.

On WWE Byte This! recently, Todd Grisham called a fan a 'retard' for mentioning that TNA is a better product than WWE...

Jeremy Adkins sent this in... I was just watching WWE Byte This! on WWE.com. Somebody called and asked about a WCW reunion show, then right before he hung up he said, "TNA is better than WWE." Then Todd Grisham got mad and told him to, "Call the TNA show if they have one, which they probably don't." I think they might be starting a rivalry soon.

Note from Paul Nemer: The caller, Mike, said "TNA is better than WWE," and hung up right away. Todd immediately fired back by saying, "So why are you calling our show retard? Call the TNA show if they have one, which they probably don't. I think it airs Sunday night at 4AM in Japan."

From www.wrestleview.com

Todd is such a fiery little bitch

At no point does Todd actually make an attempt to refute the claim that TNA is better. He simply makes fun of their lack of an internet call-in show.
