RedJed 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2006 I was hoping the Protector would have done a bit better. I think it did ok considering the low screen distribution on it. Its nowhere near this area in the theatres right now sadly or else I'd go. Anyone heard anything positive about this Covenant film? It looks a bit ok from the previews but could easily be a shitty deal with the little I've heard on it.
Ginger Snaps 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2006 I want to go see the Covenant. Cute boy witches! Whoever said it looks like a bad WB supernatural drama was right, but I'll watch it anyway.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2006 The Covenant is the Craft, but with guys! Looking at those numbers, talk about a dead weekend. Wasn't Cena's movie supposed to come out Friday?
Guest Hotbutter Spoontoaster Report post Posted September 11, 2006 Hollywoodland was awesome. One of the top 5 movies of 2006 so far.

Guest Hotbutter Spoontoaster Report post Posted September 11, 2006 Next week should be good with The Black Dahlia, The Last Kiss, Gridiron Gang, and Everyone's Hero. I'm excited for The Black Dahlia. Artie Lange's Beer League comes out next week too, but it's a limited release.
Insanity 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2006 Gridiron should be able to have a good opening. It's got almost no competition this week (Everyday's Hero? I never fucking heard of that besides seeing posters)
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2006 Gridiron should be able to have a good opening. It's got almost no competition this week (Everyday's Hero? I never fucking heard of that besides seeing posters) Someone steals Babe Ruth's talking bat and a little boy with a talking baseball try to find it and return it to the Babe in time for the game. That's about it.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2006 When does Open Season come out? That'll have some decent numbers...I don't see the baseball animated flick doing well, however...not enough talking animals and inanimate objects. I can't decide whether I want to see Flyboys or not. That'll have some decent numbers...I don't see the baseball animated flick doing well, however...not enough talking animals and inanimate objects. I can't decide whether I want to see Flyboys or not. The end of September and Flyboys looks like it has a lot of potential much like The Illusionist and Hollywoodland. I need to go see all three films either now or in the cheap theater. Cause they all look very good to me.

The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2006 Gridiron Gang should make the easy 12-20 million. Inspirational sports movie, with rough young urban kids, and The Rock. This could easily be his best grossing film since The Scorpion King.

razazteca 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 Open Season aka "Yet Another CGI Animal Film" well yeah, but those almost always make big bucks. Do they escape from the Brooklyn Zoo to make the long journey home back to the jungle or do they simple cruise around NYC looking for a friend that got lost?
