razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2006 Ratings will be down 40% and the halftime show will be the Rollingstones with Pink and Paul Wall.
Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2006 I severely underestimated the Bears. I knew they were good but this game, even if it is against the Bills, is proving they are a legitimate Super Bowl threat. The Bills offence is pretty pitiful right now and the defence is just as bad. Hopefully they can at least make it a little respectable but I doubt it.
Guest Felonies! Report post Posted October 8, 2006 How would the ratings go down with the Chicago Bears in the game? Honestly. Everyone would either be rooting hard for or against them. It's not like the Ravens/Buccaneers/Seahawks that nobody really cares about. By the way, I'm so fucking sick of hearing about the Eagles.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2006 Because California won't be watching cause LA doesn't have a team.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2006 Czech's right. Chicago is a pretty big market, unlike Seattle and has actual history that even the most casual viewer knows. Unlike Seattle, Chicago has a superstar people actually know in Urlacher. Chicago has a insane defense and once the machine really gets rolling in December, they're likely to capitalize on the retro popularity of DA BEARS. Baltimore would just be the 2006 version of the New England Patriots in that it doesn't really matter who plays. Ratings aren't going to free-fall because it'll be close and you have a popular franchise that'll keep people involved.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2006 Because the Bills suck so bad CBS decided to switch to the Patriots/Dolphins game.

Guest Felonies! Report post Posted October 8, 2006 Jesus Christ. Griese is going to be in for mop-up for the whole fourth period at this rate. 27-0 and it's not even the half. I WAS RIGHT.

Slayer 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2006 Get ready for the most boring Superbowl in the history of the NFL, Da Bears vs Ravens. How can it be worse than Ravens/Giants? There's a difference between a championship game that's "bad" because one side is thoroughly dominant, and a championship game that's bad because it's just an embarassment to the sport as a whole Ravens/Giants falls under the former. Last year would fall under the latter. Hmmm. I never knew Omar Epps coached the Vikings. Major Dad coaches the Vikings. Get it right.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 8, 2006 yeah I was keeping track of it on yahoo (no TV and no money to go to the sports bar) and it looked like a perfect setup for a Favre comeback or at least to go to OT, and out of nowhere, it was over. Just like the Packers' season at 1-4. Females in Wisconsin, you better watch out.

nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2006 Nice to see Joey Harrington getting the start even if its because of injury. I didn't get to see the game but did anyone see how he looked? 2 interceptions can't be good but he passed for a solid amount of yards.

Just John 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2006 Tough loss for the Titans today. Very uninspiring win for the Colts who, though undefeated, look more vulnerable this year than in years past. Of course, the Patriots built a dynasty on doing the bare minimum, so maybe the Colts are on to something. The Bears look in top form. I can see why their bandwagon is overflowing. Good start for Arizona today. Hopefully they can sustain this level of play with Leinart in.

Yeah, but on the other hand the Cards are playing the Chiefs, and aside from last week's romp, KC hasn't looked all that impressive.
