teke184 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Vick's 1 INT of the night was pretty damn costly, as it was taken back 50+ yards by Ware for a TD.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Fuck the Vicks for dropping the ball here. However, if the Giants win tomorrow they would all but clinch a playoff spot since they'd be 8-6, while Philly (season sweep), Atlanta (H2H victory), Carolina (H2H victory) and Minny could be no better than 7-7 going into the last 2 games. With a split of their last two, the Giants would seemingly have to be one of the top 2 in terms of tiebreaks since Atlanta @ Philly and Carolina @ Atlanta guarantee some losses from that group of teams they're competing with. If they lose tomorrow, things get a lot harder since you'd almost have to assume they'll lose to the Saints and then they would need to beat the Deadskins and hope for some help. The Robfather 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Vick takes himself out of the game?!?! Or an injury??... sorry, I think he just quit on his team. At least that's what it looks like.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Cowboys with a 10 point lead. Falcons had their chances, but some bad playcalling did them in Shocked...SHOCKED I say. Well, All I can hope is that the falcons win their last two and the eagles and giant lose at everything. And if he was injured he was injured. It certainly is believeable after getting hit 6000 times tonight. But if he wasn't thats just not cool.
The Robfather 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Last Gumbel WTF quote for the night: "So the Bill Parcells Dallas Cowboys go to 5 and 0 after a loss in 06. He manages to get his team ready, focus, prepared; even if it is just for one half. Tonight, that was enough to get it done." Seriously, NFL Network, get a real pbp guy. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Yeah, the Saints are sure looking like an NFC favourite. Down 10-0 to the Redskins, although it's still very early.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Yeah, the Saints are sure looking like an NFC favourite. Down 10-0 to the Redskins, although it's still very early. Eh, to be fair, the Redskins can be deceiving. They are definately one of this season's most dissapointing teams. They always play tough and jump out to early leads, but don't let that fool you, the horrid pass defense will eventually show up and say Hello....

snuffbox 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Cullen Jenkins sacked Kitna at the goalline for 3rd of the half already. Detroit punted, Charles Woodsen ran it into Lions territory, fumbled it, Detroit picked it up and ran it back to midfield before fumbling themselves, and a Packer recovered it. Craziness. MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Why is Kyle Boller at QB for Baltimore? Is McNair hurt? Andre Davis 'accidentally' stepped on his hand during a skirmish for the ball. X-rays on McNair are negative but they probably feel (and rightly so) that Boller won't lose the game for them.

Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2006 For all the talk about Brees, Manning, Palmer and Brady get about being impossible to replace at the QB spot for a playoff run for their respective teams, we're learning that Baltimore NEEDS McNair tremendously because if Cleveland was a better team, they'd be winning right here.
