Cena has been on a roll the past few weeks, and is anxiously awaiting his upcoming matches with K-Fed on Jan. 1 and Umaga at New Year’s Revolution… but will he be entering those two matches as the WWE Champion? Watch all the action of the special three-hour edition of Raw this Monday night at 8/7 CT on the USA Network.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 --Sylvester Stallone will be on tape tonight on Raw. He's in Philadelphia for a Rocky 6 premiere at the same time Raw is going on. The Fredericksburg, VA newspaper in a story today said a WWE spokesperson told them it was likely Kevin Federline would be at Raw tonight to help build up the 1/1 match with John Cena. Federline is Raw.
TheFranchise Posted December 18, 2006 Author Report Posted December 18, 2006 That depends if you believe what they say about the sex tape.
haVoc Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Raw Superstars will compete in hopes that they’ll emerge victorious to challenge Cena for his title. The winner of the battle royal gets the title shot later in the show, right? Cena has been on a roll the past few weeks, and is anxiously awaiting his upcoming matches with K-Fed on Jan. 1 and Umaga at New Year’s Revolution… but will he be entering those two matches as the WWE Champion? If Cena did lose the title shouldn't Umaga get to wrestle the champion at NYR?
Just John Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 I'm curious who actually wins the BR. No one really jumps out as a clear winner.
Guest Kesh Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 so who do you guys think is winning the battle royal? do we even know whos in it? my moneys on Edge
billdynamite Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 I'm going for Umaga to win the BR, and i think he'll be DQ'd later on against Cena.
slimm44 Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 I'm thinking Kennedy comes to Raw tonight and wins the battle royal. I don't have any info on whether he will jump shows, it would make it interesting, instead of having Cena squash someone. Or DX will win it
billdynamite Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Brown's gonna POUNCE! all 29 guys at the same time and they'll all fly over the top rope... It'd be some visual.
DrVenkman PhD Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Edge will win and DX will screw him over in the main event.
Scroby Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Brown's gonna POUNCE! all 29 guys at the same time and they'll all fly over the top rope... It'd be some visual. That would be awesome and would get Brown instantly over with the crowd.
BigPoppaKev Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 I was thinking HBK just to add something different to the show. Then Rated RKO cost him the title or Umaga comes out to cause a DQ. Orton or Edge is too easy of a solution.
RepoMan Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 What will the hard-hitting celeb have to say on this unprecedented and historic occasion? Actually history has given us many precedents of making crappy sequels and franchises that went on for way too long.
Human Fly Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 I still half expect Umaga to win the battle royal and win the title tonight. What is better for buyrates? Cena as champion or Cena as challenger with a good chance to see a title change?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Umaga winning the BR would be funny since he cant touch Cena til 1/1.
Human Fly Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 He can touch him in a match (which was stipulated when the no touching was first announced)
NoCalMike Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 WWE has a real oppurtunity tonight with the battle royal. I mean everyone knows the usual group of likely winners, and who will end up getting title shots down the road regardless, but tonight, a debuting Monty Brown or someone in the mid-card, winning the battle royal would probably at least give something to the crowd other then the same old shit happening at the top of the ME scene.
Just John Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 If they hadn't squashed Nitro last week, him winning and giving Cena a good fight would be a good way to keep his momentum going from the ladder match last night. Would Jeff Hardy work?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 The BR almost has to be in the first hour to give the winner a shot to recouperate. and that being said..its starting.. I see Brooklyn Brawler, and Lawler is in there too..
TheFranchise Posted December 19, 2006 Author Report Posted December 19, 2006 Raw is broken here in England!
TheFranchise Posted December 19, 2006 Author Report Posted December 19, 2006 Back on, to see Michaels coming down.
milliondollarchamp Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Im calling it the Brooklyn Brawler will win it
RepoMan Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Sweet, I don't have to listen to Lawler for a while. I'm predicting an Orton win here.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 No Edge..? Oh..he's cheating.
TheFranchise Posted December 19, 2006 Author Report Posted December 19, 2006 God damn it, I was hoping we'd get the King of Kings music.
Hawk 34 Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Looks like Edge will be playing Mr. Perfect here by standing outside the ring the whole time. I wonder if the heels argue in the back about who gets to do that spot.
TheFranchise Posted December 19, 2006 Author Report Posted December 19, 2006 No Edge..? He was outside.
