razazteca Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 Today's godly stat line comes from Gerald Wallace who went 15-27 10-11 for 40 points, 14 rebounds, 6 steals, 4 blocks.
Fökai Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 The Nets lost to the Rockets...by TWENTY-FIVE. I'm speechless.
strummer Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 What a crushing loss for the Knicks. I like how Billups had this "Did you really think you were going to beat us?" look on his face after the Pistons tied it.
strummer Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 What the hell happened? I turned off the TV when the Pistons went up by 4 with 20 to go
alfdogg Posted December 28, 2006 Author Report Posted December 28, 2006 Mr. Clutch fouled Jamal Crawford, giving him a 3-point play, then missed one of two free throws, which led to a 21-footer by Frye at the buzzer.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 My 76ers just put up an impressive 32 points in the first half! Somewhere in the world, Dana Barros, Jeff Hornacek, Sharon Wright, Shawn Bradley, 'Spoon, Jeff Malone, and Vernon Maxwell are like "Damn...these guys suck!"
naiwf Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 Crawford has to be the most maddening player in the league. He makes you scratch your head at least 4 times a night with his shot selection. LOL at Rip getting mad the Pistons didn't get a foul call at the end of the game tonight after what happened last night. LOL x2 at getting a tech even after they let him vent for about 15 seconds.
mike546 Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 Knicks wins!!!!!!!! First place here we come!!
bobobrazil1984 Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 did the pistons/knicks game go into double OT or something? how in the hell did the score get so high?
alfdogg Posted December 28, 2006 Author Report Posted December 28, 2006 The Pacers are 3 1/2 games ahead of the Knicks, but are fourth in their division, while the Knicks are a game and a half out of first. It's just not fair.
Precious Roy Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 4th overtime win for the Knicks, that has to lead the league. DON'T FIRE ISIAH!
Just John Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 The Nets lost to the Rockets...by TWENTY-FIVE. I'm speechless. Not that surprising when the Nets only shot 33%. Although if Battier didn't explode from 3-pt range, the final score wouldn't be so lopsided.
Brett Favre Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 The Knicks won't be denied. That was the best all around perfomance of the year, except for allowing so many offensive boards, and missing free throws. The score was pretty high, but both offensives were out of control. Hamilton hit shots like I haven't seen in a while, he seriously was on fire. I know he had 51, and it's easy to see that he was able to hit shots, but he hit jumper after jumper like crazy. Marbury has a great game taking it to the hole, Crawford has a great passing game and took over in the 3rd OT after Marbury fouled out on a horrible call where Hamilton flopped (then he had the audacity to complain later on), Curry had a great scoring game, Lee is usual rebounding game, Frye scored as well, and hit some big ass shots, including the game tying buzzer beater in the 2nd OT, Balkman played some good D, and actually would've had the game winning steal in the 2nd OT but Billups threw himself to the ground after Balkman stole it and they called a foul on Balkman; good thing Billups missed the first FT though. Man, that was the most uncomfortable win, and in a good way though, because I thought they lost like three different times. Good stuff.
bobobrazil1984 Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 The Nets lost to the Rockets...by TWENTY-FIVE. I'm speechless. Why? The Nets suck, and have sucked all year.
Guest Princess Leena Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 If David Stern really wants to clean the image of the NBA, he bans all Atlantic teams from the playoffs.
Cheech Tremendous Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 Mike Fratello has been fired by the Memphis Grizzlies. There wasn't anything he could have done with this year's team once Gasol went down, but Jerry West never really saw eye to eye with him and that sealed his fate. I'm sure he'll catch on somewhere else eventually. The real question is where do the Grizzlies go now? Might as well trade Gasol and blow the whole thing up.
Ripper Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 Dear god atlanta, go and get the guy and fire Mike Woodson.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 Stick a fork in the Kings, they're done. The Kings have been done since Webber blew his knee out; we've just been too fucking stubborn to lay down. And, until Petrie commits to a real rebuild, we're going to continue to be done... this rebuild on the fly shit isn't going to cut it.
Guest Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 The Hawks signed Slava Medvedenko. That's when you KNOW that a team is hurting.
Ripper Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Sad thing is he is a upgrade over Matt Freige.
Black Lushus Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 shit...does this mean I need to start paying attention to the Knicks again?
Brett Favre Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 You don't know what you've already been missing man. A triple OT game over the Pistons, a double OT game that ended with a .1 Lee tip in, a OT game that ended with a Marbury layup..you don't even know.
razazteca Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 They are trying to win now cause they know if they lose Isiah will be fired and they will be traded to Raptor, Hornets, Grizzles, Hawks, Bucks.
Black Lushus Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 You don't know what you've already been missing man. A triple OT game over the Pistons, a double OT game that ended with a .1 Lee tip in, a OT game that ended with a Marbury layup..you don't even know. the problem is, out here in the sticks, I don't get Knicks games unless they're nationally televised. I'd watch every game if I had access to the MSG channel!
