HarleyQuinn Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 I'm in as Gotham Harlequins and looking forward to this one since I missed out on the other.
Styles Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 I'm not joining, but I find it hilarious that pretty much all the same people in the other league are joining this league too.
The Man in Blak Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 What are the specs for the league? I can't view the page at work due to blocking software, but I might be interested in jumping in, time permitting.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted March 2, 2007 Author Report Posted March 2, 2007 What are the specs for the league? I can't view the page at work due to blocking software, but I might be interested in jumping in, time permitting. Roto League, 5 x 5, standard categories except OBP instead of batting average.
The Man in Blak Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Ah, okay, so just like last year's league. When's the draft?
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted March 2, 2007 Author Report Posted March 2, 2007 Ah, okay, so just like last year's league. When's the draft? Tuesday March 13, 9pm ET.
HarleyQuinn Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 *has been scouting the way Al and Raza have set up their teams from leagues past... will now dominate*
HarleyQuinn Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Holds would be nice for the relievers who are valuable but don't rack up saves (ala Chad Bradford).
JHawk Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 In as Cheat2Win. And I have Tuesdays off so as long as my wife leaves the computer for me I should be able to do the draft. Yay for days off!
Guest Queen Leelee Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Holds would be nice for the relievers who are valuable but don't rack up saves (ala Chad Bradford). There's many better than him. And nobody likes drafting them.
Guest Queen Leelee Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 I've never played a rotisserie baseball league before... How does the scoring work?
Failed Bridge Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 Ah, okay, so just like last year's league. When's the draft? Tuesday March 13, 9pm ET. I'll be in South Carolina processing hopefully I'll be able to take part in next year's.
CanadianChris Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 I've never played a rotisserie baseball league before... How does the scoring work? Teams get points based on their standing in each category. If this is a 20-team league, whoever is leading in a category gets 20 points, 2nd place gets 19, and so on down to the last-place team, who gets one point. Your total score is just the sum of your scores in the 10 categories. Standings are cumulative for the entire season.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted March 3, 2007 Author Report Posted March 3, 2007 League is full. Thank you all for joining. If there is interest, I'll consider doing an NL-only league as well.
