In Credible Posted May 17, 2007 Author Report Posted May 17, 2007 The thing about Veronica Mars is that it's the only show I actually watch on The CW, so fuck em. If they don't renew it I'll have no reason to watch that lame ass network.
Jericholic82 Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 Angel had a good run though, 100+ episodes, solid ending. I'm glad it went out on a high note actually, season 5 was great. Also agree on Deadwood. Who knows if they'll ever get around to making the two movies they're supposed to to finish storylines I think he mentioned angel cuz the ending storyline was kinda rushed, if they like a couple more episdoes left in the season it would have worked out better but you cant complain with that finale. I think the fans were pissed so much cuz they didnt want it to end, not because it was canceled too soon The networks always mange to cancel every show that I like so theres too many to name here, although I will agree with Lucky Louie
Ravenbomb Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 One more season would've sufficed. I don't mind that it ended there, and if it was Mutant Enemy that decided to end the show at the end of season 5 I wouldn't complain a bit. But the WB should've said "you only get one season after this" instead of "Show ends this season." But I agree, the ending was very good.

2GOLD Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 Commander-In-Chief- I loved this show....It ruled all in ratings until American Idol started and all the women just stopped watching it...It was a great show that fell victim to American Idol...A sad day in indeed..Although I hear they're going to do a tv movie... Actually no, the show fell victim to new writer syndrome. Commander in Chief had compelling storylines but then in the middle of the season, new writers were brought in and the show got completely hammered into death. They lost a huge chunk of the audience to that and then Idol came along to grind what was left away. And thanks for reminding me it's the CW, Mole. Sometimes watching the network and seeing the shows becoming exactly like every show the WB had, I forget it's two networks merged. So far only Everyone hates Chris and Smackdown have avoided being WB-ized though with crap storylines and worthless nonsensical romance plots with the local dickweed just because the girls on the net find him cute.

It was the number one show on Tuesdays ...the night Idol premiered that ended...Then it went on Hiatus because of the writer situation in late January and came back on a New date and time in April and that was the eventual downfall of the show..
Coffin Surfer Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 Oddly enough, I was just watching Freaks and Geeks last night. The final was a decent wrap up of the season's arcs but hardly definitive as the characters were all kind of left in unsure places you'll doubt they stay for long. There was still so much more that could have been done with an additional season plus the show was just so damn enoyable with so many great characters that it needed more than a short single season, shame.
Ripper Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 Firefly, Clone High, Wonderfalls. And fucking Invasion. Goddamn them for cancelling it with a cliffhanger ended. FUCK them right in the eye.
Youth N Asia Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 That's what annoys me most about Jericho being cancelled. Cliffhanger ending. Shows should not end their first like that unless they know they're on for a second season.
cd213 Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Married...with Children. It was canceled before being able to have a series finale. One more season to wrap it up would have been great.
JohnnyBlaze Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 I'm still pissed Arrested Development got canned.

One more season to wrap it up would have been great. yes but of course fox shit on its first true hit. the last episode was ok but if they had time to do a real finale it would have been awesome, especially if they got the creators to write it like they talked about on the E THS of the show
Vigo Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 It looks like the campaign by the fans of Jericho have brought the show back from the dead. At least it looks like for at least 8 episodes. Jericho Saved?
CanadianChris Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 I've boycotted ABC Entertainment for the past five years after they cancelled Sports Night and The Job in consecutive seasons.
imajackoff? Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 I would have liked to have seen what they could have done with the live action Tick. Nestor Carbonell was awesome as Batmanuel.
Craig Th Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 I've boycotted ABC Entertainment for the past five years after they cancelled Sports Night and The Job in consecutive seasons. I did the same thing with WB after they canceled Angel.
