I know people seem to be predicting big things for Harry Smith but from what I've seen of him in OVW he's pretty....shitty. Pains me to say that too since Davey Boy is one of my all time favorites. Without the family name though Harry would be Mark Jindrak or someone.

 

Dare I say it but Teddy Hart wowed the crowd in that that match this past week against the James Boys on OVW? Crazy corkscrew splashes aren't seen often in OVW, in fact I wonder if he did it against orders. Teddy is one of those Nuke LaLoush sorts, needs that Crash Davis to school him.

The Next Generation Hart Foundation: Coming out to the old music is awesome, Nattie is so cute, Harry Smith seems to not have found his niche in OVW yet (I've seen his work before OVW and he was great) but he's getting there, and Teddy Hart is Teddy Hart. I've always liked his work, but we all know the deal with him. Here's a picture of the group:

Can someone explain this statement from WO today? I have no idea what Meltz's cryptic messages about "last night" and "worst timing possible" mean. Is Paul Heyman in the news or something?

 

"In the worst timing possible award for today, as opposed to last night, on WWE 24/7's Legends show, the topic was backstage heat. Jerry Lawler was a guest and they brought up his breaking Paul Heyman's jaw with a punch in the 80s. They asked him if he did it on purpose. He said yes, and said he even waited two nights to do it so it wouldn't be obvious"

Lawler is being sued by manager Sal Corrente for punching him while Sal was arguing/defending himself from a fan.

WWE.com reported Bobby Lashley suffered a torn rotator cuff in his Raw match with Mr. Kennedy.

 

It's pretty clear that was the story of the match, so either he had suffered the injury over the past week and worked the match tonight to explain it, or it's a late angle to cover for plans changing.

Anyway, as I said in the Lashley thread the guys in WWE had to rush to rewrite RAW last night, not only because of the injury to Lashley, but also because of Jeff Hardy. Many thought it was weird how they booked Umaga to be a babyface, when he's in the middle of a feud with Jeff Hardy. Well, the word there is that Hardy didn't make TV last night, and while the guys at PWInsider will not say what the reason is just yet, they are saying that there is "serious concern" as to if Jeff Hardy will be back for SummerSlam...if at all.

 

No clue what's going on, but there you go.

 

They did what they did last night to have the stage set for Umaga to be a babyface, just in case Jeff Hardy really doesn't come back, or at least come back in time for SummerSlam.

Sounds like they do actually have a clue of what's going on but don't want to say it yet for all the obvious legal liability reasons.

Yeah I found it odd that Jeff wasn't on Raw last night. Who knows at this point what the deal is, but given his past problems it's not hard to piece it together. It would be a shame if he blew it again, since he was one of the most over guys on Raw.

With all these injuries in the last six months and with Hardy's possible departure is there a chance the developmental system might change? Are the facts that so-and-so can't work WWE style or creative doesn't have any ideas for someone really a solid excuses in the face of at least two shows that really could use more talent (ECW and SD)?

I can't really conceive how that would work based on their prior work with him.
